it is unfortunate that there's no reason for most people to remember high school chemistry because the best analogy I have found for "the amount of energy that it takes me to initiate a task, which can be higher than the amount of energy it takes to actually complete the task" is "activation energy" and it's not precisely perfect but

yeah. and you can even include "thing that reduces the barrier to doing the task" as a catalyst/enzyme

anyway. unfortunately this does not actually clarify anything for the average person. but #ToMe it works

I've been fighting art block for the past two months and I'm finally clawing my way out. (Featuring whatever outfits I could scrounge up from Pinterest that caught my eye)

I tried donating blood for the first time and had ✨a bad time✨ The staff were absolutely lovely, apparently my body just refused to give up any blood :')

Fingers crossed the next attempt goes better!

Also, I keep trying to explain to non artists that cows are rectangles and horses are round (now specified to be bean shaped after a conversation with a friend), but people keep looking at me like I'm crazy.
