ACOPA

Australian Centre of Performing Arts (ACOPA) is a unique performing arts hub dedicated to the development of artists’ creative ability through professional training, presentation and agency services. ACOPA’s Training Program provides a selection of exciting and rewarding courses in performing arts and media. We’ve assembled a teaching team of highly qualified and experienced industry professionals to deliver accredited, non-accredited and short courses. The Australian Centre of Performing Arts is located in the heart of North Melbourne’s busy Errol Street Precinct. The building houses the ACOPA teaching facilities, Club Voltaire and it’s unique theatre space, and the Australian Creative Talent Agency, making it a hub for arts talent to learn, grow and expand their craft in a supportive, highly charged and creative environment.

Check out the new and exciting short courses being offered at ACOPA! The participants of all three courses will work collaboratively on the production of a short film/music video! Not only will students be trained in the area, they will also have a final product for their portfolios.

Key professional skills for camera operators, floor manager, director, lighting, script writing, scene or script coordinator, or for continuity, costume and make-up professionals. 3.
