doomscrolling through the tdwp tag, i saw someone connecting miranda to another character from meryl's filmography, saying like "what if, given that she's so poor, she changed her name and became miranda for the world, becoming rich and famous etc..." (i dont find the post anymore rip)

so i wanna do it too bc its been a while since the first time i thought abt it and i wanna say it although no one will gaf abt this

so what if both virgil and miranda were orphan siblings , but she eventually got adopted (maybe when she was little so she doesn't remember, or she either does but chooses not to bring it up to anyone) and moved to the us while he stayed in the orphanage till he aged out, and after the best offer finale, since he committed fraud, decided to change his identity too to become stefan (the rule of jenny pen)?

think abt it:

similar blue eyes;

similar refined vocabulary;

both bitter workaholics and around the same age (considering they might have a 7 years age gap, since wiki says miranda is around 54-55 yo in 2006 and virgil is 62-63 in 2013)

then, in 2024 the rule of jenny pen comes out, and geoffrey is abt 73-74 yo, like virgil would;

plus, they both have complicated romantic lives -> in the fandom, they end up being gay (i know virgil isn't and miranda isn't either, but mirandy exists, and in my ff virgil's bi so i count as fandom too :) )

im just spitballing tho i needed to say it :')
