Can someone explain to me how its Nadir or Amaras fault that Lor and siblings were in Nostrasa for do long? I understand why SHE blames him for it, at least in the begining, but the way he just takes that on him???
He didnt know and even if he HAD known, he couldnt do anything about it because of his father?
With the discourse going back to SJM and the Elain/Azriel vs. Elain/Lucian debate coming back to life, i will bring my two cents to the table that noone asked for.

I simply do not believe Elain will end up with Az after everything that happened at the end of ACOSF. Nesta only changed herself and Feyre, and while i do believe Az might never want children, i dont think Elain would live that life.. So if they did end up together, how would that work? Is Nesta just going to do it again? The price should be too great.. If there were another way, i 100% believe Rhys would have found it. They could adobt sure, but again i dont think Az wants to be a dad, I think he is very happy being an uncle, and he will be ultra amazing in that role, able to do his serious job away for weeks/months at a time, and then taking up uncle training duties when he is home.
Ergo, Elain imo, will have to end up with Lucien (or someone else entirely) and honestly I like thats a much better outcome for both of them. Especially if she is to take the role as consort/High Lady of the Day Court(if Lucien takes over), and might i add, I think the Day court is perfect for her!
And also... All the sisters the all the "brothers"? It's too weird and honestly boring..
-As a sidenote, I think Gwyn is a much better fit for Az, and I also dont see her wanting children. She is just trying to survive in the world herself and, while being strong in her own awkward way, she is selfaware enough that her anxiety of the world shouldnt be past on to a child. I would love a story of Az helping Gywn be less afraid of the world, him falling inlove with her as she falls inlove with the world and maybe seeing the world more through her view?
My most hated book trope is: Oh noooooπ’π’π’ this beloved character just gave up their life to save the main character, it was a beautiful sacrifice and they are dead nowπ’π’ how incredibly sad that they diedπ’π’π’π’π’ are you sad yet??? about their death?????? SYKE!!! YOU REALLY THOUGHT I WOULD KILL THEM OFF??? HAHAHA DUMBASS!! I JUST DIDNT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A GOOD ENDING AND IM TOO SCARED TO KILL OFF ANYONE IMPORTANT!! As much as i love Quicksilver and Brimstone, i absolutely hate how often Callie Hart use 'fucking' to emphasize her sentence, or how she uses italics everywhere, which wouldn't annoy me so much if she would just use it on the right words..
The second time Foley and Saeris interact, how does he know about where she is from, or what her life was like??
If this is a crumb for something later, why didnt Saeris point it out? π
What is happening? This is the second time im like 'wth' reading Brimstone, but this one is just like... Are you know keeping track of what your characters know?

I wanted to make a post about my thoughts about On Wings of Blood, and there is a lot that annoyed me about the ending... But instead of breaking all that down(im lazy lol), im making this post, which is the reason I wanted to make the thoughts post in the first place.
I have a hard time picturing things in my head, but what I had created in my head from what a fluffin ACTUALLY is, was so off, and im so disappointed thats its just a fennec fox with big eyes...

In my head, it had like the body of a fox ofcourse, but its head was round, im not even sure it had ears(maybe it had like bulldog ears? Anyway..) its snout was more flat and its eyes would be huge, like a tarsier or a dog from The Tinderbox by H.C. Andersen..
The plot line of Neverra being taken is done soooo terrible.. At no point does it really seem like Logan is really concerned about anything other than Samkiel.. Why is he not freaking out or acting out or telling Samkiel off for going after Dianna, who is on a killing spree, over Nev, who is a member of the hand AND a life long friend?! It doesn't even make sense to me !!!
And then when she is brought back, its played off as if she was away for a worktrip or whatever for a couple months, like "I missed you guys soooo much, heheβ¨οΈ"

In the book of Azreal Samkiel couldn't magically change his clothes until he had gotten enough sleep to get his magic back, but in the throne of broken gods he REBUILDS THE CITY after his fight with Dianna with no sleep????
The celestials in Gods and Monsters keep talking about how the clothes are too tight and small but like dont the celestials who live amongst the humans live relatively normal life's and works normal jobs? Gabby works with celestials!
You cannot tell me that there is not a single celestial tailor or designer on Onuna who make celestial sizes.. If they are walking around in clothes that is too small, that is a choice and not a "this place"-problem

I think i understand now what Amber was going for in the Book of Azreal, with reminding us that Kaden and Dianna didn't love each other every chance she got, but I think she did it in a wrong way.
I think she should have just not mentioned it, other than Gabby being pressistent that he didn't and Dianna deserved to be happy, and then Dianna being dismissive or not wanting to talk about it.
Im at the point in the book where they just got Gabby to her room in the silver city, and she confessed to killing Alistir because of them love she felt Logan had for Neverra.
It would have been so much more impactful if she was living the lie, convincing herself that she was fine and happy enough, and the first time she says she knew he didn't love her and vice-versa is in the room with her sister.
She says to Gabby in page 232(im on Kindle)
"You were right. I haven't been happy for a long time. I am not happy with Kaden, and I have been faking it for so long."
We knew that already as the readers, knowing her thoughts, but it could have been so much better if she had convinced herself- and thus us- that she is fine and happy.
Which i honestly think Amber was going for, but she didn't succeed, i fear..

I think the story in The Book of Azreal sounds interesting and it's quite good so far, but the writing.. oh my lord.. it's exhausting to read! I cant even put a finger on what it is, there is just so much information that is either irrelevant(imo) or repeated over and over again
I will say, in The Book of Azreal, the names are at least pronouncable, and thank fuck for that, but the places??? Arariel is a cursed word and my dyslexia wants it burned
