“Ugh, did the Turks turn idiotic after Veld left or something?” Vincent hissed under his breathe. “You’re a hypocrite of a leader if you don’t follow your own rules. Start doing so. And it would look a lot better if you had some damn backup.”

Vincent looked down at her, eyebrow lifted. “Really? The blood on you says otherwise.” He knelt down in front of her. “Let me see.” He might not be able to do much about fixing it but he could at least make an attempt to stop the bleeding.

The old turk grumbled to himself. Here in this little coffin was a man he'd not seen in years. He'd known about his death, but, here he was, breathing. He was pissed, all these years and all Vincent would have had to do was find Veld and he would have helped him. He placed his foot against the side of the coffin and pushed it over, watching as the turk and the coffin fell over. (turkstopgun)

Chaos’s senses came alive, picking up on the intruder’s presence. The Gunner hadn’t been quite ‘awake’ when the coffin was oh so rudely kicked over with him still in it. However, he was awake enough to catch himself and pull Cerberus from its holster, aiming at the other man’s head. Vincent blinked, realizing who was standing in front of him. Slowly the gun went down but not completely. “Veld?”

The turk growled slightly. He stepped forward and pulled the younger closer by his cloak. “Hojo hasn’t been my friend since the day I found out he killed you. You may have fallen for Lucrecia and stopped loving me, but, I never stopped loving you.” The older regretted it the second it left his mouth, but, no such thing as a rewind here. He released the dark haired man from his grip. “I just would have liked to help you fight what ever kept your claustrophobic ass here, locked in a coffin.”

Vincent tried to move away from Veld but wasn’t quite fast enough given the amount of noise in his head. Chaos was extremely distracting when he wanted to be. Hearing the accusation made the ex-Turk instantaneously pissed off. It was his turn to glare and, even with the crimson color of his eyes, it was icy. Oh it took everything he had not to punch his old boss right in the face. “Excuse you? Where the hell do you get off saying that?!” His old timid demeanor as a Turk was a thing of the past now. “I never once said a thing like that! You were the one that told me to go to her!” He swatted the other man’s hand away as he was released. “After hearing you say that I don’t want your fucking help.” Not that much of anything could help.

He growled out. “I would have liked to know you were alive.”  His anger boiling out to other emotions he really didn’t want to explore currently, he wanted to be angry at the younger. All the pain and turmoil, sleepless and drunk nights without the younger, blaming his death on himself for assigning him the mission.

He was not going to stand her and take this. Not anymore. “I was dead the moment Hojo, your friend, decided to pull that gun.” Vincent hissed out. “You call this being alive? Being under the control of a raging demon? And it is not my fault you didn’t think to ask the one person who was capable of this. Nor is it my fault that she didn’t tell you. Save your god damn guilt trip for someone else!” As he finished speaking his gauntleted hand went to his head, holding it as if he were in pain.

The gun aimed at him didn’t phase the older of the two. “Nah Vince, I’m a gods forsaken moogle.” he growled out, pinning him with a glare. “So, this is where you’ve been while the world began falling apart?” The older turk looked him over, keen eyes picking up the gold covering his arm, lengthened hair and an all over harassed appearance.

Well the man’s sense of humor certainly hadn’t changed. Staying quiet he lowered the revolver further. That glare, though familiar, did not intimidate him anymore and he met it head on with a calm stare. “What was I supposed to do? With no control over this thing inside me I’d have made it worse.”

V [Daemon of the Kingsglaive]

(Vincent was born in Lucis around the time of the Starscourge. He was born frail and wasn’t likely to survive so his parents took him to a healer who, unknowingly for them, dabbled with the virus. The healer merged a Daemon named Chaos with the child, saving them both from death. The child grew at a normal rate but with abilities like no other. He learned to control them, use them, and trained with a gun that could handle his power.

In his adult life Vincent saw his parents die at the hands of Niflhiem soldiers. The only thing he could think to do was run. Not knowing what to do he wandered between Lucis, Niflhiem, and Tenebrae. During visits to the Empire he would frequent the military bases and sabotage machinery and destroy troop movement plans. Vincent only took life when he was caught despite his anger toward Niflhiem. After many years of infiltrating and escaping bases with ease Vincent caught wind of a plan to invade Lucis. Unable to ignore this, he went to report his findings to the current King, Regis. Upon hearing the report Regis immediately gave Vincent a place in his recent creation to stand against the Empire, the Kingsglaive.

Because of Chaos Vincent has a form of eternal life. While he can die it cannot be of old age or illness. This has kept him in the Kingsglaive ever since he joined, an ever there presence to watch over the Kings of Lucis.

Many think him a Guardian sent by, and tied to, one of the Astrals. No one questions his past or his long life because of it. And he never lets it known that he harbors a vile and deadly Daemon inside his body.)

He had spotted Vincent but the Soldier stood watching him. He didn’t care if the other was out for Shinra. The boy’s eyes slowly shifted down to Cerberus before he froze. He wouldn’t allow Vincent to take his life, not when his sister’s depended on it. “Don’t touch that thing.”

It didn’t take him long to figure out this Soldier was still young. Why would you pick Soldier...? The other’s words did not earn a reaction. Vincent merely said, “Don’t give me a reason to use it.” If that sword came out he’d give no time for the younger to use it.

Vincent was out alone again. He found it better to be this way rather than sticking with Cloud’s ever growing group. He was wandering without a destination in mind. During his little ‘walk’ he happened upon many people. One of them happened to be dawning a Soldier uniform. He hated the sight of them. His hand went to Cerberus’s hilt. He wouldn’t do anything unless necessary but he was very tempted.
