11. Bone Breaking

There's a sharp crack when Alex hits the ground followed by woeful sobbing. Tears streaming down his face, simply wailing at the state of his broken leg. 

Though Aurora supposes she went easy on him, she could of dropped him from a much greater height, but she didn't. He was still alive, in a monumental amount of pain, but alive nonetheless.

She'd be sure to be more thorough next time. Whatever ties they had before had since elapsed.

It's called the past for a reason.

The bullet from Isaiah's gun ricocheted, bouncing from the floor to the nearby wall. It's impact is loud as it radiates through the nearly empty area. There's a sudden silence for just a moment when their eyes lock waiting for the other to make their next move.

With a lucky sidestep Isaiah is able to move out of the way of rusty hooks.

This could be an interesting challenge.

Aurora's form is unfaltering, and she's planning her next strike. She won't miss twice.

When he speaks Aurora recognizes the voice, the man from the Waterfall Grotto. Though his name still isn't ringing any bells. “You've learned something new, it seems.” Her voice is harsh and stern as usual.

“I have no need for that useless thing anymore.”

It's been a while since Aurora talked this much, aside from talking to herself from time to time. But this was no time for idle chit chat. He was still trespassing. There's a clink of metal hitting the ground as Aurora drops the hook in her left hand. And with a swing of her left arm she fires a punch aimed right at Isaiah's face.

Aurora hadn't thrown a punch in a while, but it did get the job done. She quickly crouched down to grab the rusty hook off the floor, only to rise back up and volt back on her hands and upright again to put some space between them.

Technical Funambulist [Tag: Isaiah ]

The atmosphere of Fort Frolic had been dead for quite some time, even better when it stayed that way. Though every now and then some poor soul would stumble in this area that Aurora had now and again called home.

A small crawl space up above the ground, not easy to reach. She preferred the quiet and the distance from others.

Although today she wasn't so lucky.

Down below she saw a figure- though at this distance Aurora can't tell who it is exactly. Only the sound idle footsteps echoing through the empty halls really gives them away. She crawls out to get a better look, old pieces of ceiling crumble to the ground, an easy indication of her position.

And the figure below looks up as the debris falls.

The drop down isn't much as she lunges forward, gravitating into a tumble. Aurora quickly gathers her composure as she lands then leaps forward towards the intruder.

Curly hair, and a scar on his face. He looks familiar, but his name escapes her.

“You're trespassing.”

4: Cheek kiss

The grotto is more crowded than before, though Aurora doesn’t seem to mind. It must be the cocktails she thinks as she finishes another glass. Stacking it with the others as she takes a drink right out of a small splicer’s hands. Aurora only gives the splicer one dirty look before they attempt anything and just stumble away.

Isaiah had kept his promise and brought more drinks. But he also brought more company which was unnecessary, not needed and definitely not wanted. As the party goes on she lets herself unwind a little, chatting with a fellow one eyed splicer, as they raced to finish their (multiple) drinks.

He was accompanied by a tall splicer -even taller than Aurora- standing around, glaring at everyone. Even scaring some of them off. Aurora liked that.

Aurora didn’t know much about Ferdinand, but that wasn’t what either of them were here for. She bends down to place a kiss on Ferdinand’s cheek. She glances at Ferdinand’s companion when she’s done, he doesn’t seem any angrier than usual. She blows him a kiss, blood covering her lips.

If anything, this was something she could definitely blame on her rather extreme drink consumption.

8: First kiss

Aurora knew nothing about dancing, but she was willing to learn. She took off her heels before they proceed to dance. Though it didn't help much seeing as she was already significantly taller then Alex. She had grown up watching people dance in plays and on television, just never took the initiative to learn.

When she had the chance she'd sneak away, being a star had it's perks but it was nice to get away once in a while. She'd often visit a nearby studio, it was small but comforting. She would stay and watch Alexander Russel dance. In awe at his fluid motions and how open and kind he was to his fans.

Alex held her close as they swayed along to the music. Twirling her around, their laughter filling the empty room.

When the song ended they pulled apart, and Aurora leaned down to place a quick kiss on Alex's lips. It was as short kiss, but a confident one. She bent down to grab her shoes, putting them on before leaving. She turned to look at Alex once more.

“Thank you for the dance lesson.” She said sweetly, before they said their goodbyes. Definitely ecstatic for their next dance.

She's unaware how long they sat in silence, knew that is was long enough for completely finish Isaiah's discarded drink. In reality it might not of been that long at all. But this Isaiah was good at keeping his promise, kept quiet and didn't bother Aurora at all.

It was like he wasn't there at all.

All the peace and quiet she wanted had been achieved, but her lack of ADAM cocktails had been disappointing. Aurora played with the empty cocktail glass in her hand before chucking it near Isaiah.

The shattering of glass very apparent in this quiet lonely area as it landed beside Isaiah. He gave her a look, and she gave him one right back. It wasn't as if the glass had hit him. He wasn't even doing anything worthwhile.

“Go grab another tray of cocktails.” She said.

Isaiah seemed to hesitate for a moment. Eventually he stood up saying he'd return momentarily. He left, leaving the Waterfall Grotto nearly empty once again.

Aurora chucked at another glass at Isaiah, just for good measure.

Hobby / X-Ray / Zodiac

Hobby: What’s something they do for fun that might be surprising?

Photography Aurora found a camera and likes to snap pictures from time to time.

X-Ray: How’s their health? Any problem areas? Do they take care of themselves?

She's addicted to ADAM and that isn't necessarily a good thing, Aurora is pretty fit though, from years of acrobatics and training. She's was super flexible even before her addiction. Out of everything Aurora cares for her hair mostly, she has dyed it a few times actually. Naturally her hair is a dark brown.

Zodiac: What’s their astro sign? Does it fit? What would you pick, if it’s unknown?

Aurora is a Libra and it doesn't really fit anymore. I'm not sure how horoscopes apply when you use drugs. But it did fit her, Aurora was kind and gentle. Very romantic and charming.

Now not so much.

Sing: Do they like music? Do they listen often/sing/hum/play songs in their head?

In moderation yes, Aurora hasn’t actively listened to music in a long time. But she was a fan of classical music and musicals. She loved to go see plays whenever possible.

Pistol: Is this character skilled with a weapon? What’s their opinion of violence?

Aurora’s weapon of choice are two rusty hooks, she’s used a gun before but since she lost her eye her aim hasn’t been great. She’s getting really good at using her hooks though.

Co-Habitate: Do they live with anyone? What’s “need to know” before moving in?

No one at the moment, Aurora constantly moves around from place to place (mostly in search of ADAM) and finds new places to sleep. There is one spot that Aurora constantly returns to, near Fort Frolic. In a high up place that isn’t easy to get to unless you can also crawl on the ceiling.

Need to know before moving in?? Probably not a good idea to move in with Aurora.

Yack: What’s their favorite thing to talk about? What do they go on about?

Before the fall she could go on and on about musicals and plays. New tricks she’s learned, how she can balance 5 books on her head and 3 others on her foot.

Now Aurora doesn’t open up much about herself emotion wise, but she’ll talk about her glory days as an acrobat. Mostly to herself though.

Aurora finished the drink in her hand, carefully placing the glass with the others scattered about. She set the most recent glass atop the others. Stacking them in various shapes.

She turned once again looking over the the man- more importantly the drink he left behind - rolling her eye at his question.

“Perhaps I'm not.” Her voice was flat and rigid.

Isaiah. She considered committing the name to memory.

Aurora back flipped, her form nearly perfect as she then transitioned into a handstand. The motion was fluid but inhuman. She grabbed Isaiah abandoned drink with her foot, moving back to her original spot. Slowly placing one leg down for balance, the drink eventually making it's way into her hand.

“Aurora.” She says as she takes a sip.
