Strong Female Character was interesting to read, though I don't know the woman nor her comedy. Still, it is very refreshing to read about autism from an actual autistic person.
Don't mind the huge amount of missing books, I resorted some shelves and moved a couple over for the sake of knowing that they are all accounted for space-wise, now they all chill amon their brethren until I feel like reading them without having huge gaps on my shelves for a long time. Also sold two of them, because every time I tried starting them I put them back. Got fed up, sold them, won't miss 'em.
That said, the ones I did actually read were great, but I had a craving for some court drama. So I started Ballad of Sword and Wine, because apparently I can't learn from my mistakes of starting a series with a whole lot of names without having the entire series on my shelf. Well, I am on volume 5 now, and...mostly confused about all of these names, some I vaguely keep in mind, others I keep looking up in the name glossary to no avail, oh well. I can keep track of maybe 1/5th of all these people, the rest is lost to context clues and the occasional "Oh wait, that was the fuckass who tried to kill X! And this must be BBEG's big brother- oh no wait, that was that other family with X in the name...who was this one again?!" It's a joy. I should create a mindmap with nicknames to keep track of them all.
What saves my reading experience is that lots of things happen that make me want to read on, because holy shite how much can an entire kindgom fumble things this badly and will our main MC actually become the new Emperor in the end, I MUST know!!
