It would be easier if I didn't love him. We're breaking up but we're still in love. It's the most messed up thing. I fucking hate this.

Today is the day I thought would never come. We had an amazing day, he helped me fulfill a childhood dream, we laughed, we ate good food. But tonight, we both decided that the day he goes home is the day we part ways. The past year has been full of ups and downs but it recently has just become too much. Especially for him. We love each other so much, which is why we've been sobbing into each other's shirts on and off tonight, but we still think it's the right thing to do. It would be another 7 or 8 months before we saw each other again and we both thought that would ruin us. And I never wanted us to break up while we were apart. Him being here makes it much more soothing in a way, as weird as that sounds. However, he still has 5 days left with me. For those 5 days, we are making the absolute most of it. He is still mine, I am still his. There will be lots of tears, and lots of happiness. He has given me love that I never thought I deserved. I'm going to make it through this, we're both going to. We're going to be friends and support each other, even though our relationship is changing. I'm going to keep this blog open, because I've made friends and I'd like to keep record of the happy times we shared. These next couple weeks are going to be rough, but I know I can make it. Ta for now xx

I really don’t think some people realise just how hard it can be for international couples to close the distance like do you not realise that customs/visas etc is a thing?????? I’m so sick of people telling me to just move there like you don’t think that would be the first thing I’d do if it was as simple as just staying?

A seriously ill student has begged for help stem cell donor in the next two months after being told she will die if no match is found.

Final-year Cardiff University medical student Vithiya Alphons , from London, said she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukaemia after falling ill during a lecture.

Doctors have warned her she is facing a race against time to find a donor - something made more complicated by her Sri Lanka heritage.

Ms Alphons said: “I knew it was going to be difficult because there aren’t many people from South Asian backgrounds who are signed up as donors.

23 days and it's getting real 😄

Me and him had a little spat the other day but we both calmed down and now we're more excited than ever to be together again. Soon it will be ONE YEAR since we met!!! Absolutely bananas, never in a million years did I think I would be in a relationship like this, but I'm so thankful for it. May 3rd please come quick xx
