In case anyone still reads this:
ICE is a federally backed domestic terror organization.
They separate families, murder innocents and disappear people at will.
This is my public call for the dissolution of this re skinned Gestapo and any and all off books, black-site, unconstitutional 🐂 💩 they are perpetrating in cities across America.
I invite anyone who doesn’t share this opinion to show yourself off my page, and do some soul searching on the way out.
My generation, and arguably others in close temporal proximity, were sold the dream of college degrees as golden tickets, screwed out of it by capitalist overlords and landed in a police state.
I choose not to be fearful
I choose not to remain silent
I choose to name what’s happening in our society
Not just because it pisses me off, which it does
But because it’s patently, objectively wrong
We are OWED by mandate of our founding documents and the blood their pages are soaked in, the blood of revolution and refusal to endure tyranny and injustice we are OWED civil servants, stewards and leaders who carry with them in their daily work the best interests of the people of this nation.
We don’t have that right now, at a federal level. We have a power hungry talking head with his finger on the button. He’s filled our courts and federal agencies with “yes” men, women and otherwise specified, and made us the laughingstock of the world stage.
And we GAVE it to him. It was handed to him on a silver platter. All you had to do was vote for “The Black Lady”, and we would not be in this mess. Instead we fell for the honeyed words and self aggrandizing rhetoric of a grifter, who had his ass in the seat before the body(our land) was cold or the ink dry(on the devil’s bargain we signed).
If you voted red, threw your lot in with MAGA, which by the way is not living up to its name, you are part of the machine that will eat you whole with absolutely no remorse and not tell your family until they’re signing the check for the meal made of your corpse.
