Melete and Glitch, the duo that actually went as a date to the ball!
Melete represents the alchemical quicksilver, whereas Glitch is repping gold. Mercury attracts and binds gold in the process of amalgamation, viewed historically as the conquering of it.
Kindra and Riccin, the not-quite-but-pseudo signmates, dressing up as the Dioscuri: Castor and Pollux, the divine twins who were placed into the stars after their death.

Reba wanted one more dress and @skegulium was kind enough to sacrifice Orivar for the task. Ori's dress is ocean phosphorescence + night sky represented by the hair, while Glitch is the (upon checking references) remarkably consistently purple Alternian sky.

The ship to start all ships! This began eight years ago with Reba going, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, "wouldn't it be funny if Vadaya kept negging ID over his shitty coding?" while I went "I mean, if by funny, you mean ID is going to want to literally murder Vadaya --".

Honour doesn't bother with dedicated outfits to the ball when she's going stag, but that doesn't mean Glitch won't track her down just to neg.

I hate everyone that I know. I possess no friends, only enemies. A week or two ago, I was given a deeply affectionate and dreadful impromptu powerpoint featuring three different people all explaining to me how Lovecraftian my depiction of Glitch's breasts were in some of these ball pictures, and now I am facing the same cruel indignity over Riccin's ass.
Anyway, I have a lot of ball pictures I am queueing! Still got four or so that I want to do, so we'll see how those work out, and what cruel trials I will ace in pursuit of the finish line. :(
Ten whole years ago, I did a bunch of cards with the canon Dysseu lineage of Thetis/Medeia/Rmeros/Pheres. I've been playing Rmeros a lot in a spectrum-flipped AU where maroonbloods are the ruling class lately, so I got bit with the bug last night to sketch up redraws.
I might finish this? We'll see!
Currently have a folder full of these, so I guess they will be getting finished to some definition or another.

I guess this is the year of drawing women! Not included is the third Glitch picture, which is still in sketching phase. Bottom row is impromptu Honour vs Glitch studies, which is the first time I think I've ever drawn a fucking Honour reference image in ten years.
Call-out to my favorite certified art lesbian, @skegulium, who basically put together a powerpoint on how to draw breasts for me. I'm still pretty bad at it! But we're getting there!
Also from that AU, sketches of Loxias and Saevus to shake off the drawing rust. I have two piccrews and a different style for each that I've been flipping through, so it's been a little jarring to try to remember how my fantroll style works.

i do not have enough time to finish this sketch but maybe after the ball is done i will!
instead of drawing the host, i drew orivar instead. Her outfit is based heavily off of a northern god that i created for her little tiny rinky dink sea town Jyyr's Bay, where they had a temple dedicated to the three eyed crow. Used as a scion of wisdom, divination and protection, the three eyed crow was known for being merciless in who it blessed.
