Hey Tumblr. It’s been awhile.

I’m struggling so hard right now. Financially, mentally, emotionally, all of it. 2020 has been the hardest year for me to date and I still can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Guess who turns 25 on May 13th?! 🙋🏼‍♀️

@taylorswift @taylornation , it would mean THE WORLD to me if you followed me or even if I just got a like or a “happy birthday!” from you on my special day. This is the first time in my whole life that I’ll be celebrating alone. I’m 6,000 miles away from my friends and family, I can’t go out and have a margarita or a juicy steak, I can’t even sit on the beach. To say that I’ve had a really lonely past couple of months is an understatement, and not being able to be with anyone on my birthday is the icing on the cake.

But I have your music. And just like every other obstacle in my life, it reminds me that I’m okay. 💖

You know what’s worse than being unemployed during a pandemic?

Finding a screw in your tire. That is too big to be patched. Guess who doesn’t have the money for a new tire.

Anyways, to make ends meet while I’m unemployed, I’ve been doing custom pet portraits for my clients. What some people don’t know about me is that I’m a Graphic Designer!

After our wedding in December, I moved to Hawaii to be with my husband where he is stationed.

It took three months for my car and my belongings (including clothes) to be shipped from NY to HI.

End of February, I was finally able to apply for jobs again. Because I had my car so I could get to my job. Beginning of March, everything was shut down and all of my job applications were frozen.

I have been unemployed for four months now and I’ve been cooped up in my office trying to crank out as much artwork as I can to sell. But I’m not making ends meet. I’m exhausted. I’m depressed. I’m drained.
