S2 E11 Playthings - A classic, creepy girls in a creepy hotel. Special call out to Sam getting SLOPPY

S2 E16 Roadkill - There's a ghost haunting the highway. the Boys help the spirit move on. This is an early example of monster empathy

S2 E18 Hollywood Babylon - Dean loves hollywood. I love dean. this episode makes me kick my feet like a little girl and i will not defend myself.

S2 EP 20 What Was Shall Never Be - all I have in my notes for this one is "Dean Djinn Dream" which was enough for me to remember the episode and get misty eyes. This is SEASON 2 my son will never know peace.

S3 E5 Bedtime Stories -I had to check the wiki on this one, I think i liked it cause it referenced classic fairytales

getting healthcare right now sucks, it takes forever, costs a lot and has the potential to be a really bad quality. i’ve been personally struggling with lung problems for over 2 years. i was diagnosed with asthma as an adult and have recurrent pneumonia. i cannot get a primary care physician right now, the shortest wait time is 3 months. and that’s just to get a referral to another doctor.

working in health care also sucks, high patient ratios making it impossible to give quality care. having to “jump hoops” to get patients treatment. hell half my shift is spent charting, some for continuity of care, some just so you can prove you did your job when you get pulled to court.

i know so many people have had bad experiences. i know i have. and it’s not excusable.

it also not excusable to treat all health care workers poorly because of them.

I checked a copy out from my local library (support your local library) and it's an illustrated copy! I'm so excited to read it with a brain capable of critical thought! And to see all the pretty (by that i mean heartbraking) images!

I love to craft and I just wanna talk about it for a minute.

It is so fun to have an idea in your head and work to make it something real that you can share. I'll see some piece of garbage and think of something to make with it. It feels like recycling, and giving something a new life. I love when I see something and know it will make the perfect gift for someone. Or even if I'm just making art with real supplies. Every gifted craft project is a gift of time, love, and knowing.

Its fun to make mistakes because you learn something new every time. One of the most common thing I see in comments on art videos is stuff like "I could never" or "mine would look so bad". Every crafter has made some bad art. The best part about making a mistake is what you learn from it. Once you learn how different materials act you can really exploit them. If you make a bad drawing, then you can look at it and see where it looks wrong. As you keep doing this you get better at not making mistakes in the first place. With practice you can predict how new materials will act before you even use them. And sometimes what's a mistake on project is exactly what you need on another one.

I love seeing other peoples work and getting new ideas for mediums and strategies. It makes looking at art so much fun. Instead of seeing the image, you see the brush strokes, the way light bounces off the paint, the shapes used to make the silhouette. Getting inspiration from other artists always makes you feel like part of a community. And getting told you inspired someone else's art is the highest compliment (as long as it's not straight up stealing ya know).

It really comes back you community in the end. It's about sharing a piece of you with the world, and listening to others who are sharing themselves too. It brings me a lot of joy. I think if you need some happiness in your life, it's always worth learning a new craft. <3

THEYRE BASED ON A REAL FAMILY (and the whole family has "im easily overstimulated" hair cuts, its so relatable)

It's cheesy. full of stuff you know is meant for kids and that corporate made them do. but I really liked it. I know the whole bit is that the family is weird. I don't really like that they used the word weird instead of autistic but i can kinda understand why they had to do it. i found myself relating the characters constantly. The way they run away when things get overwhelming, communicate through their interests, stim when they have big feelings (they all have their own, and most of them have a couple they do) and the way the situation their in affects them. It is not perfect representation but it did a good enough job for me.
