This is Angela, she is a young mother. 

Angela was forced into sex trafficking by an ex-boyfriend. 

When his abuse escalated, Angela finally escaped and got her own apartment. Her ex-boyfriend then found her new address, showed up at her door with a bouquet of flowers to give the impression that he was there to make amends, and once Angela opened the door he brutally beat her with a metal bar within inches of her life. 

Angela is lucky to be alive.
