Hi, Adal here
Today is Valentine's Day, a date that I have particularly never lived in its entirety, however, I write about and in one of these compositions was born we can't be friends (wait for your love), my new single. Well guys, I just launched a new era and, this time we will have more than songs and video clips, soon I will make new revelations, for now stay with the challenge of breaking with a relationship marked by destructive cycles. By refusing to feed the "monstrous fire" of my relationship, I express the desire to free myself, even if it implies giving up a significant connection. The verse "We can't be friends, but I'd like to just pretend" summarizes well this tension between the need for separation and the difficulty of accepting the end, especially when the feelings still persist.
The music video, inspired by the movie "Eternal Shine of a Mind without Memories", reinforces this idea by showing the attempt to erase painful memories, without being able to totally eliminate the emotional impact of the past, in fact I am loving this world of Cinema, the seventh art is something charming! The lyrics of this song also reveal vulnerability and hope for reconciliation, as in "Wait for your love, my love, I'll wait for your love" the impossibility of maintaining a true friendship after the breakup. The mention of "papers and pens" genuinely suggests that the other side clings to memories of the relationship, while I try to move on, feeling misunderstood. These last experiences of mine bring the central message is universal: dealing with the pain of the end, the difficulty of letting go and the silent hope of a possible new beginning. And thank you very much for being with me on this Valentine's Day!
