Hello Tristan!! Thank you so much for reaching out, I am honored to know you have acquired that painting! And thank you even more for your work and activism, it’s truly an inspiration! I wish it was painted in something a bit more sustainable, but I figure it helps to carry the right political message. I am currently making a body of work which are paintings made with dirty motor oil that show enormous beautiful landscapes, especially those heavily affected by industrialism. I think it’s hard to appreciate the beauty of the land without considering the consequences of the oil industry, hence these paintings. Anyway, thanks so much again, I really am honored! Adam

As can be seen clearly with the horizon, the oil continues to bleed out from where it was originally painted... all too much of a frightening metaphor.

"War Memorial". 2016. This has taken so many hours to make. It's 14ft long. The marks are made solely with a lighter on paper. They represent all of the deaths of American soldiers on Afghanistan and Iraq soil since the beginning of the "War on terror," which arguably hovers somewhere around 6485. This piece is on going until the war's end.

Just finished up this 50ft long mural! Here is the whole enchilada and a detail shot. It's an illustration regarding the flood of Vanport back in the 1940's and all of the displacement that ensued afterward around Portland. It's a history that needs to not be white washed. Very stoked on this piece. It's on Vancouver between Beech and Fremont on the wall facing south. Thank you @urbansphere for the opportunity!! Go check it out!

Sandra Bland was not alive in her mugshot. When you are arrested, you are pictured in the clothes you are arrested in, not in prison clothes. When they take your picture, you are told not to tilt your head or lean against the wall. There is a clear shadow where her head touches the background, most likely the floor. Her cell had tan walls and gray floors. Her head is on a gray background. You can clearly see the gray floor in the first photo and in the right corner in the second photo. Her hair is falling towards the background. Gravity is pulling her hair down because she is on the floor. It is impossible to keep your shoulder straight like her right shoulder is while standing. It is likely that she was on the ground with her right arm outstretched when this picture was taken. When they take your picture, you are told to look directly at the camera. Her eyes are lifeless and unfocused. The police department claims she hung herself from a 5-foot platform when Sandra was around 6 feet tall. The photo of her cell has a trash can in it. Trashcans are not allowed in jail cells because they can not be bolted to the floor. Police claim the scene was not tampered with before the photo, but the trash bag they claim she hung herself with has been replaced with a new one. Sandra told her sister on the phone that she thought her shoulder was broken. Someone with a broken shoulder can not lift their arm high enough to hang themself. The dashcam footage from her arrest is clearly edited, as cars appear and disappear in the middle of the road. The officers knew they were wrong in arresting her. They knew she was going to take them to court. She was a strong-spirited activist. She did not go from being a fighter to being suicidal in a matter of days. The police fucking murdered her and their pathetic attempts at hiding it are not fooling anybody.

A mural in St. Johns/Portland I did a couple weeks ago. First electronic saw mill was debatably created in Oregon, whose economy has a heavy dependance on logging, so I used a few native plants (Salmonberry, Pacific Nineback, and Trillium) to ornament the piece. Ornament is typically used to help create a sense of balance. 17′ x 30′ Spray paint. Adam Brock Ciresi. 2015

Ha absolutely! Actually, the first spider I had caught was last night. I got up to use the restroom and it scurried from behind the toilet. I threw a plastic container over it but went immediately back to sleep. I forgot about it and it wasn't until I saved this other spider earlier tonight from my cat that I remembered the other one I trapped from the night before. I felt awful. What a nightmare that must have been. At least I got to release it outside before I caused asphyxiation. I wish I could have ensured it knew of my apology. All the while I am trying to write lyrics to a new song but am sort of currently uninspired so I keep repeating complete gibberish both in my head and out loud, hoping it will jostle any lyrical ideas.

yoooooooo so here’s the deal. Once upon a time, I got a master’s degree in fine art. But a bunch of shit has happened since then… namely me becoming permanently disabled……. and because of that, I’m not really able to make art the way I could when I was a student. (I mostly work digitally now; it’s just easier on me.) Anyway, this means that I’ve had a shitton of fine art supplies just sitting around collecting dust! AND I want them the fuck out of my space already… so I am going to give them away! One winner will get everything listed below.
