Happy Memorial Day
Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to ask for your support this Memorial Day. Most of you don’t know because I never discuss it with followers, but I am an Army Veteran who fought in Iraq as an IED Hunter. Since coming home, I have had a fierce battle with PTSD which actually led me to woodworking and made me stronger in many ways. I started an organization called “Warriors' Ascent” to help veterans with PTSD. Please spread the word, visit us at www.warriorsascent.org Thanks, Adam

“I will not give away my hard-earned skills to a machine. It’s a bit like robbery with violence, for (machines are) not only intended to diminish my bank balance, but also to steal my power.” -John Brown // photo by the boys at http://kindlingco.tumblr.com
Look what came in the post!
Today I'm kickin' it with my pal, Jay of Elemental Hardwoods. They'll be launching their website soon and I'm looking forward to watching them create some incredible stuff,
My stepfather always gave me honest and fair criticism. One of the things he taught me is that no matter what, there is always room for improvement. I doubt I will ever be fully satisfied with what I create, because I always know I can do a little better, and each time I get a tiny bit closer to where I would like to be. For me, the endless striving for better craftsmanship is one of the more enjoyable parts of woodworking.
Live-edge walnut is my JAM. Excited to have three of these babes on my schedule this month.
