Two women beat a man with his own wet clothes at the Harunga Celebration in Baldeo, India. Harunga is participated in by the members of one prominent family in Baldeo. A man sips a cannabis laced drink called Bhang Lassi before the Huranga celebration in Baldeo, India. The day after Holi, the village of Baldeo has a unique celebration that's been going on for over 500 years. They call the celebration Harunga which basically means "aggressive Holi". By noon, Hindu priests are walking around the historicall Dauji Temple where the celebration takes place passing around Bhang Lassi which is a traditional drink made from water, yogurt and cannabis. Hindus drink Bhang Lassi as a kind of communion, a piece of Lord Shiva, the god of destruction. A Hindu priest throws colored powder into the crowd at the Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, India. Krishna, the god of love in Hinduism is said to have spent his childhood in Vrindavan. As a child, he had a crush on the goddess Radha but was self-conscious about his dark complexion since Radha was very fair. After complaining to his mother about this, his mom told him to "go paint Radha's face whatever color you like."
