The biggest three Young Adult literature franchises in the past decade have been Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Twilight. All of them were written by women.
And yet we still get articles like this:
And it annoys the hell out of me.
Because John Green has said and done some great, wonderful things. He’s also done and said some super shitty things. He’s written some decent books, and done some good charity work.
But he did not save Young Adult Literature. He did not usher in a grand new era of Young Adult Literature. If anything, he is riding on the coattails of women more successful than him in the literary world.

Stop referring to them as “Men’s Rights Activists.”
This legitimizes them by framing their bigotry in the language of progress.
Start referring to them as organized misogynists, rape apologists and proponents of violence against women.
Do not concede a single inch of ideological ground to them.
Do not let them control the discourse.
Allow them no platform.
Allow them no reprieve.
Destroy them completely.
but how would a SNAIL react to the friendzone
The friendzone is a myth perpetrated by misogynists who use it to shame their female friends into sex. I am absolutely disgusted by it.

My feminist collection. Need to add more :)
Wonder Woman would probably be so heartbroken if she heard there were people who thought her feminism was trans-exclusionary
I told you so.
whenever i try to open this image google chrome just crashes, can someone just take a screenshot of the image
Always remember that women who call themselves feminists will be accused so many times of being man-haters, but when a man kills women just for being women, he is called mentally unwell, and a madman rather than a woman-hater or misogynist.
Being a critical fan means that you love a famous human being, knowing fully well they are flawed and can make mistakes due to their privilege-blindness or outright ignorance (whether knowingly or unknowingly practicing misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, racism, etc.). When they fuck up, it is your duty as a critical fan to make them better, call them out and educate them. Your job is not to create excuses and adamantly defend their mistakes because they are so fierce in your eyes.
