It’s hot as hell in that room, Ophelia cranks the thermostat because she’s cold blooded, pyke emits heat as a waste byproduct of glowing, rett is suffering but it’s okay because he could probably sleep under any conditions

Blanket sling… eheeh. It’s a way for rett to hold pyke (I.e. not let him roll off the bed) without having to wear the metal arm to sleep. Ophelia gets the other arm because I say so

Pyke has a sunlamp which is partially why Ophelia is facing away and has the eye mask. Again, rett can sleep with any conditions, and pyke is used to the light

They have three pillows! Pyke doesn’t get one. Ophelia has one for her head, and she’s hugging one. Rett has the third. It’s okay, rett is pykes pillow

The other reason Ophelia is faced away is because she gets migraines and chronic headaches, which can definitely be triggered by strong smells. And it’s hot as hell, ew, icky. (Don’t ask about Pyke he’s doing his own thing…)

Ophelia’s pillow has a nice perfume sprayed onto it so she can have that instead!!

Hank has his own bed, but he’s spoiled and not a single one of the people in that relationship can say no to him (it’s quite similar to how Ophelia nor rett can say no to pyke. Whipped smth smth..)

They’re sleeping on retts tiny little twin size bed (he never needed more and somehow they’re all fitting)

They lowk don’t need blankets solely because of how hot it is but it doesn’t really bother any of them in a huge amount. Rett on god we’re gonna get you an ice pack or smth.

C!W*lbur was incredible at making his propaganda stick. The mischaracterization of himself, C!Dream, and hell even C!Tommy needs to be studied.

Dream wasn’t a villain until W*lbur made him one. The disrespect of the original L’manburg to Dream specifically still was something that people talked about into the start of the election saga. Eret’s betrayal is something that makes it clear to those who watch from Tommy/W*lburs perspective that Eret teaming up with Dream was villainous, cementing Dream as a full villain. Then as soon as L’Manbug became Manburg we see a shift to a sympathetic read of W*lbur and Tommy. The old lore of L’manburg not allowing anyone else besides the ‘Non-Europeans’ (which really meant the British and Fundy, he is the only member of og Lmanburg who isn’t a Brit) had been forgotten because they let anyone join now! Everyone began to forget that Quackity wasn’t allowed to join because he was assumed American, that Sapnap asked to join but was stopped by W*lbur, that Dream asked them to not have a monopoly on potions. L’Manburg wasn’t a bastion of morality some people just fell for the propaganda.

the group ( and yes i say GROUP because it was various people who pushed it ) that really badly wants to accuse awesamdude of "stealing" minecraft designs, are well known for stirring up shit like this all the time in discord servers and whatnot

generally amongst the minecraft creator populace ( not video creator, but builders and modders ), it is perceived as a bad thing to attempt to claim ownership of an idea, a piece of code, a block palette, or a block pattern. specific structures and maps of course are okay to claim as your own. this group however thinks they own a redstone door setup

we jokingly call them the anti-tutorials because of a certain comment made trying to defend this gatekeeping, when someone chimed in and said "if i'm doing a showcase video i don't want someone using it as a tutorial". but that has always and forever been the basis of minecraft, to see and recreate, it's part of the game

nobody on the large scale mc community thinks badly of sam. especially the mcprison people, they really like what he did with pandora and how much it popularised the genre. he is just being poked at by well know bad actors. they will find something new to complain next week, it'll pass

I think even coming from the newer Hermitcraft stuff, they only recently started 'crediting' redstone designs from outside of their own heads recently because redstone has changed a lot in just the past year.

Credit is great if you know who did it but for a long time we honestly didn't. Minecraft as a game is old enough that the tactics that people know came from someone named 'minecrafter-1994' on reddit who probably stole it from his buddy who showed it to them on their xbox 360. Now with the changes in minecraft meta, you can actually track where the source it.

The DSMP was during the before sources were clear and actually able to track who did what. Also the non-redstone builds were typically credited if they were inspired by artwork or anything. The DSMP wasn't allergic to credit and it's really way the person who made the video continues to bring up this moot-point anytime Dream is becoming controversial, almost as if they are doing it for clout.

c!Tommy cut off his head with an axe before he was put in prison. c!Q definitely considered it but realized it would cause issues, so he did stuff like slit Dream’s throat as deep as he could. I’d imagine Dream has one large ugly scar around his neck, straight in the middle and then a bunch of smaller more delicate looking ones on different parts of his neck/upper chest. Q isn’t out for blood, he’s out for revenge. He knows that dull blades make for ugly cuts, so sharp knives in his bag it is. Dream is broken enough from the torture but the bloodloss from those makes him sob. For Q it’s no longer about the book. The book is Dream’s and Q has decided to go after Dream’s very soul in order to get the damn book. So Dream is rescued by c!Techno with a huge scar around his neck that c!Phil assumed was from the prison. The smaller ones Techno notices while they were in prison together. Techno doesn’t say a word about those ones to anyone, but he definitely knows it was Q’s doing. So Techno finds Dream turtlenecks and neck warmers to cover them. Dream deserves some dignity afterall, Q couldn’t take that from him.
