for the longest time i never was able to know what being in love felt like. that grab your heart, tears falling, catastrophic, can’t possibly feel this deep and this true about someone kind of love. you’ve shown me that second chances are more valuable than the first. it didn’t take long for me to know you and your heart and see you with your little girl that i knew i was in trouble. if you told me that a year ago i would be sitting here with that same little girl on my right, our son in my arms and my heart being completely captivated by you and wishing to spend the rest of my life with you, i would laugh. but it’s true. it’s real. and you’re here as a gentle reminder that sometimes good things can happen to people that are so undeserving of them. i don’t deserve you, matty. and today is a testament to that. happy birthday to a stud who’s completely flipped my entire world upside down. you always say if you could give me the universe you would, but today i’m going to try my hardest to give it to you. i love you with every inch of my body. let’s turn up some tswift because for the next three hundred and sixty five days, you’re twenty two ;) 🎂
