Few days late, but happy pride month people! Got rid of my bi flag a couple years back and I'm still pissed, but I put a little pin up in its honor.
Everybody stay safe and have yourself an amazing pride! You are loved!

Suselle is a fascinating ship because a lot of people who dislike it will try to convince you it’s more toxic than it actually is, while a lot of people who like it will try to convince you it’s more boring than it actually is
I used to be the number 1 Llorumi hater but I've matured. I GET it now. Not only do those two have a fun dynamic, but there is so much parallel and unfinished business between them. The fact that his "evil" self acted just like her? She haunts his narrative and I'm putting money on the fact he haunts hers. He has since day ONE. Not to mention the enemies to lovers Factor. Like, I GET it now. It's a great ship.
That being said Harumi is 100% a lesbian to me and I feel like her pride wouldn't let her settle down with Lloyd. I like the scenario where the two date for a while but Harumi breaks it off leaving Lloyd disappointed. Later she admits she's into girls. And Lloyd goes:
"What about us???"
And Harumi's response is" "I was preordering. But the Yuri was pending too long so I had to cancel."
Lloyd has know clue what she's talking about
the only way i would ever date a man is if its lloyd garmadon
La-loyd...?
(yeah, sorry Abt the hands, but hey art dump!)
I'm trying to write a self insert oneshot but I can't focus bc I'm watching dragons rising and. Lloyd. He's so...
If the Ninja go to the never realm just so Lloyd and Akita become a couple I will genuinely smash my head against a wall😐
I love akita I really want her to return but not like this and especially not in dragons rising! She deserves her own little comic with her brother abt their life and adventures that would be so so cute🥹
The Dragons rising cast is already TOO big. We do not need new people joining🙏 Also I just know Akita will only evolve around Lloyd and their relationship...
Maybe focus on ur like 20 main characters🙂
One of the aspects of the very first season of Ninjago that is so fascinating to me is how it separates the main character from the hero.
Our five main characters (yes, I'm including Nya in here even if she's more or less ignored at the beginning) all have to come to terms with the fact that they aren't the hero. They have to accept their individual identity and group role as the protectors of the hero... who ends up being the initial antagonist of the season, Lloyd Garmadon.
I think that's such an interesting dynamic- realizing that you aren't the person at the center of a grand prophecy and letting go of your dreams in order to be part of something bigger and greater than you alone.
And this continues into Season 2. Yes, Lloyd does get more focus than Season 1 (where he was mostly an off-screen prisoner), but I wouldn't say he is the main character of Season 2. Often, and especially at the beginning, the episodes don't really focus on him- they focus on the other ninja learning to train him properly. The main characters from the first season frequently get the episode's arc, while Lloyd is their goal.
And this continues through the finale of the Season. The entire final battle, Lloyd is fighting to stay with his friends... until they realize that it's their responsibility to push him forward, not stay by his side. The ninja are the ones making the choice to get Lloyd to the top of the tower, and he has to learn from their decisions and accept his destiny, rather than making that decision on his own.
This continues through Season 7. Lloyd does get some character development (such as his leadership arc in Hands of Time) but he's never the one saving the day. That falls to Zane in 3, Kai and Garmadon in 4, Nya in 5, Jay in 6, Cole in DotD, and Nya and Kai in 7. Lloyd fulfilled his destiny (to save his father) and now he's just... part of the team. He doesn't have to save the day anymore. He can be backup support to the others, just like they were backup support to him.
my transfemme lloyd vibe is that her being transfemme is genuinely not important to her because she has so many other things to worry about and doesn’t experience physical gender dysphoria. but it is on the list of things that make her feel wrong about her physical being, just not at the forefront of her mind. my imagination sets up lloyd as just never telling anybody because she keeps her shame to herself but also because it’s genuinely not a big deal
“like yeah i feel like i look wrong, i think wrong, i don’t do anything right… also sometimes i wanna be called sister instead of brother or niece instead of nephew, but i’m more trying not to die of everything else”
i always thought “L”, “elle”, or “ellie” were cutes nicknames for lloyd while “D” or “deedee” were cutes nicknames for a potential bizarro!lloyd. well now that enemy lloyd is a thing, i feel i finally have excuse to make use of these.,,
I wish we never got the chance to meet. A drawing I did while practicing dynamic poses! And my brain just instantly thought of drawing Harumi and Lloyd fighting. The pose was unreferenced so there's prob some anatomy issues but i will prompty ignore those Not ship btw! Unshaded piece under the cut!

the thing about Tangled is that this is a story geared towards little girls (even if it's "fun for the whole family," it's a disney princess movie, it's geared towards little girls), and it says, "here is a girl who is naive and doesn't know anything about the 'Real World' or how to navigate it safely and correctly. now pay close attention: the good guys are the ones who help her grow and explore new things while still respecting her own perspective and feelings, not making her feel stupid. the bad guys are the ones who tell her that she is too weak/immature/naive to do the things she wants to do, because she is fragile and needs protecting." and I watched this when I was nine years old and it resonated deep in a part of me that I couldn't articulate with words yet.
