Coming Home To You

Gene Simmons x GN! Reader

TW: Minimal couch makeout, other than that there isn’t much

Gene had been gone for a few months, six to be exact, on the “Dressed To Kill” tour with KISS. You’d been home alone, going about your work day, doing your own thing, and coming home to an empty house. 

You hadn’t been sleeping in the bed, you missed him too much, but you took his pillow to the couch to cuddle as you slept.

Around 2 in the morning, August 28th, 1975, the front door opened and grunting could be heard as some suitcases were pulled inside. Well, you weren’t awake to hear it, but if you were, you’d know who it was…

Gene was home.

Once he got his things inside, he sighed, rubbing his eyes and looking over to the living room, where you lay on the couch, asleep, with the TV still on.

He smirked, making his way over to the couch and practically laying on top of you. He obviously didn’t press his whole weight down, but he was trying to wake you up at least a little.

“Hey.” He murmured, poking your face and beginning to mess with you and your clothing.

Eventually, your eyes slowly blinked open, fuzzy and confused. You rubbed them, and turned just slightly, catching a glimpse of Gene.

“You’re ho-”

You didn’t get a chance to finish talking before Gene was on you, kissing you passionately and cradling your face.

He eventually got you to allow his tongue access into your mouth, the long appendage exploring what he’d missed for months.

He pulled away to kiss down your neck, his hands exploring your body before he started kissing your face again.

He slowly gentled his kisses and touches, and when he seemed finally satisfied, he slowly pulled away and picked you up bridal style, taking your blanket with you, and carrying you up the stairs to bed.

He laid you down, and made his way to lay down next to you.

“You took my pillow.” He murmured, resting his chin on your shoulder, having you act as his pillow.

“I missed you.” You murmured, “Is it a crime to take my boyfriend’s pillow while he’s gone for six months?”

He laughed, the vibration running through your back. He kissed your cheek.

“I missed you too.”

AN: First fanfic! It’s more of a one-shot, but I hope you like it. :D I’ve also signed up for the AO3 waitlist, so I should be on there by April 3rd!

You sat with Ace on the balcony of the latest hotel KISS was crashing at on the Love Gun tour. He held you close against him as you stared up at the stars, sipping a beer.

“The stars are gorgeous tonight.” You remarked, leaning your head on his shoulder.

“Mhm… yeah…” He replied.

“I think that’s the Big Dipper.” You pointed up, tracing out the constellation with your fingertip.

“Yeah… real pretty…”

“Are you even listening to me?” You asked, not tearing your eyes away from the stars as it occurred to you he wasn’t responding with as much vigor as usual.

You sat in silence for a moment, waiting for a response. You lifted your head from his shoulder, whipping it to look at him. He’d been staring at you the whole time.

“You’re real pretty when you’re mad~” Ace hummed, tracing his hand along your cheek.

“If I didn’t know better, I’d think you were dreaming of someone else.”

“‘Course not.” Ace hummed, setting his beer down and pulling you tightly into his arms. “I only think of one person in the world in such a manner.”

“Who?”

“Only you, always you.”

You smiled softly, leaning up to place a peck to his lips as you settled back in.

Peter (20 December 1945) is 3.5 years older than Gene (25 August 1949) who is 11 months older than Eric Carr (12 July 1950) who is 9 months older than Ace (27 April 1951) who is 9 months older than Paul (20 January 1952) who is 6 months older than Vinnie (6 August 1952) (the only members of KISS born the same year) who is 1.5 years older than Bruce (12 December 1953) who is exactly 4.5 years older than Eric Singer (12 May 1958) who is also 4.5 years older than Tommy (7 November 1962).

Ace is exactly 9 months older than Paul which leads one to wonder - was baby Paul being conceived at the moment baby Ace was being born?
