Effective mobile navigation (sliding in from the left)
Font Awesome, the iconic font designed for Bootstrap
Of course it works for non-bootstrap projects aswell.
Simple and elegant jQuery for some sliding goodness
Getting Ajax calls to work locally in Chrome (Ajax)
For instances where running a local webserver is not an option, you can allow Chrome access tofile:// files via a browser switch. After some digging, I found this discussion, which mentions a browser switch in opening post. Run your Chrome instance with:
chrome.exe --allow-file-access-from-files
This may be acceptable for development environments, but little else. You certainly don't want this on all the time. This still appears to be an open issue (as of Jan 2011).

Some good examples and pros and cons about using Strict Mode
Simply one of the most visually stunning and creative image sliders I have ever seen!
New name!
Some excellent advice for writing faster and more efficient jQuery code.
Awesome example of how to do a navigation menu that springs in from the side, pushing content off-screen. Like the mobile Facebook app.
At first glance this site seems like an excellent resource for designers!
It is better than using window.location.href =, because replace() does not put the originating page in the session history, meaning the user won't get stuck in a never-ending back-button fiasco.

Funny webfont that replaces Lorem ipsum!
