I'll take the "good" news.
I came home from school today and found out something fantastic! I mean, after a day of testing and a mountain of homework, I at least deserve some good news. But, nevertheless, the whole reason why my homework is stacking up is because of all this . . . uh . . . well, research. But it's totally worth it.

Of course. It sounds lovely. I hear my patients talk about how they need one all the time. Sadly I can’t prescribe a day at the spa, to the disappointment of everyone… Including myself.Â
Awh. You should always take a break once in a while, Doctor! We all need one! :D Maybe I'll take you on one one day!
Okay. . .
Today was a snooze fest! I went to school--as usual--but I only got complimented on my hair! They thought I got it cut or colored or something. I guess those sunny rays off the gulf of Mexico really do have their perks! But other than that, they didn't notice anything different. Ugh, and without plans after school, I was forced to lock myself in my room until I finished homework. Now that I'm finished, though, I've been pacing my room for two hours!
Oh well, you know what they always say! When boredom strikes, it's time for some sleuthing!Â

Your dress sounds like it would have been stunning. Green is my favorite color. Plus with that hair? You would have had high school boys falling all over you.Â
Too bad that long list of boys all had to be rejected. A dance versus a spa get away? I think we all know the answer to that one!

I'm always nice! She must have been merely rewarding me for being such a perfect child. When you're the only one child, you're pretty much under a transmission electron microscope. So, I'm always on my best behavior!Â

Well, I'm sure most of you did. If you didn't then how would you explain the loads of messages I got from you guys?!
Last weekend was winter formal at my high school. I was going to go, I had a dress picked out and everything. It was gorgeous. Green slip and black lace on top? It was divine! Plus those emerald pumps! Buuuutt, my mother surprised me with a trip to the Caribbean!! Fue hermosoooooo! We went tanning out on the beach, went to the spa! Ah! Don't deny it, I know you are all jealous. Maybe next time I'll take you all! If you're lucky enough ;)
Anyways, although I missed my school dance, I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities to have that "high school" experience. But instead of going to a grimy dance to get felt all up, I'm ready for my close up! With this tanned skin and perfectly manicured nails, I can't wait to strut it out tomorrow at school.

He seems like a nice fellow but I may have heard him crying about it the other night.. poor guy. No man likes to be scored by a woman, especially not one with paparazzi following him around. Our reputation is all us men have to live for, of course..
As far as Jenny goes, she is nice. A pleasant woman, and lovely in every aspect. She has to be, that’s how she gets her fount of knowledge. Cookies, you say? In exchange for your friendship, I’m sure.Â
I’ve heard the mayor is your father? If I ever have the pleasure of meeting him, I’ll congratulate him on raising such a pretty and hospitable daughter.
Hmm, then yours must be reputable? I've heard talk of praise from such an amazing doctor. And . . . wow. I kinda always picture men like heroes or knights in shining armor. To know they actually cry . . . that's kinda funny.
And well I'm not sure if we're friends. We've talked only once, but hopefully we get to know each other better. But I like her a lot so far!

Well, I’ve only met some of them but I’m living with that famous singer from Britain. All I’m going to say is that the tabloids are true about him… he’s got some baggage, that’s for sure. His ex and him are always fighting.. it isn’t pretty.Â
And that Jenny girl is a real gossiper. I’ve heard some nasty things come from her mouth.
But they seem nice enough… Just my observations.
FAMOUS SINGER?! Oh oh I wonder who that might be. A celebrity within Golden Cove's city? How delightful! But . . . oh. That's not good. Ugh. Sometimes ex's are a handeful, but that guy just probably needs to grow some balls before letting that pretty one get away!

The estate is lovely, and I cannot wait to explore the town some more. Only thing is, I could use a huge favor! I lost my TI-84 in the move here.
I can’t do my coursework without it. Do you have anything that I could borrow? I’d even settle for a TI-83, or maybe even… a regular calculator. But that’s only a last resort.

Why would she need a calculator, she mused, she's in college or beyond and Adelaide pretty sure she didn't need such a high-tech calculator in order to measure the area underneath one of those huge arches the house sits on top of. . . Unless. Adelaide paused and then gasped. "This must be the cookie girl Lucas was speaking about," she muttered. Her stomach rumbled and glanced up at the clock adjacent to her desk. It was nearing dinner time and she was starting to feel hungry. Contemplating her options, a wicked smile spread on her face. If she could get some cookies from her, then that'd be fine! Right? Plus, she could even use the calculator Adelaide lent to her to produce the best cookies ever! Maybe she'd even be her cookie slave!]
Well, I only have the TI-89 Platinum. Kinda high-tech and expensive. Is it too complicated for you? I can lend it to you on TWO conditions.
I must (1) have the calculator brought back to me before school tomorrow. I have a Calculus test to take. If only you could take it for me, but it may be out of your league. Awh darn. and (2) I must have some of your delicious cookies I've heard all about!

I don’t know if I know who the ariel girl and doctor guy are, or well, I don’t know if I’m thinking of the same people you’re thinking. I mean, I know this one Scarlett girl and she’s kinda cool with her protest friends and stuff. And then there’s James and he’s really cool, or like, doesn’t seem like he’d beat me up. But it’s not that they are old (they don’t look that old), they just seem to act more adult-like than I ever would, you know? Online classes are pretty bomb. But I chose them because I like not having to go out just to get an education. I bet going to an Ivy league school would be a pretty cool choice too, if you want to go, I mean. If you’re dad just wants to get rid of you, at least he’ll ship you away somewhere nice. :P
And yeeeah. I guess that’s one way to see this whole big place as. Everyone’s like my dorm roommate, except I don’t know how old most of these people are and a lot of them act way older than me sooo… Yeeah. Like that.

Yeah, either way my father is going to pay for my education, so of course he'd send me somewhere nice! But, then again, somewhere nice can also be deemed as one's own living room, am I right?Â

Oh, ahem. I’m Richard Evans. I was a doctor working at the hospital but I’ve come here to set up a small family practice. Expanding my horizons, you know, the usual. Would I be making a good choice in choosing Golden Cove for my practice? Seems a nice enough place..
Oh, well, Mr. Evans, it depends! Not too many people get sick. Well, that's coming from the people I actually know. But I'm sure you'll find plenty of work. I mean, you're a doctor! You didn't go through all that school for nothing!Â
