What do you get when you add two snowmen, an epic journey, and one of the UK's largets oinline reatilers together. 

One amazing holiday ad. 

I sat watching this spot for over a minute without having a clue where it was going but unlike bad adverting the creative minds behind the spot were able to tie everything back together with a subtle and amazing climax. It felt like a snowman's version of a Lord of the Rings movie.

Stop motion videos is awesome.

One of the reasons I think it is so awesome is because I know how much work it takes to breath life into inanimate objects. It takes a special peson with a vivid imagination to craft this deconstructed style of video. 

Rogier Wieland is one of those people and has created this amazing video for Moleskin using their products to tell a visual entertaining story.

British designer, Seb Lester, makes drawing some of the most amazing calligraphy I have ever seen look way to easy. 

Well shot video that captures the mind blowing freestyle calligraphy in real time.

Growing up with a general contractor for a dad the idea of having soft hands meant only one thing.

You weren't doing enough manual labor. 

This TV spot from Australian beer brand, Victoria Bitter, features voice over provided by a manly sounding Auzzie juxtaposed against really well executed POV style shots of hard working man hands. 

Although the script employes some time worn cliches the spot makes them feel well worn in rather then worn out. 

Moral of the story: Hands can tell a lot about a person. What do yours say about you? Are they manly enough to grab an ice cold Victoria Bitter?

I have never heard of a child growing up without at least one stuffed animal and the thought of not having a teddy bear to cuddle with makes me misty eyed. 

German teddy bear manufacture, Steiff created a powerful dreamlike commercial that captures the mystical power of these seemingly simply objects.

Nick Offerman has made a solid run for the Mustache hall of fame and in this promotion spot for Movemeber, Mr. Offerman provides some advice on how to grow your own amazing facial hair. 

Made Man is definitely providing manly content for all of the men in the world with this quick video.

The only way this music video from Mackelemore and Ryan Lewis could be any better is if Salvation Army was behind the creation.

A great spot from Canadian brand Zellers. 

A little backstory for context, Zellers was acquired by target and will be switching over all of Zeller locations to Target branded stores. 

Zellers releases its mascot into the wild marking the end to an 80 year old brand.

A showcase of some of the most innovative interactive campaigns from top advertising agencies.

I do not get excited about the thought of public transportation but after watching this spot from the Danish bus company Midttrafik I immediately ran outside to flag down a city bus. 

Very entertaining commercial and although it is overtly sensationalized I have no doubt it  will get people pumped when they see these blue buses approaching.

This is the second video in the series from Adidas that follows D Rose recover from last season's injury. The videos do an amazing job of capturing the inspiring comeback and building anticipation for the return.

A great making of video for short fashion piece directed by Damien Krisl. Love the surreal lighting and atmosphere of shooting in the pool. Great color contracts between the orange dress and dark pool.

Great video piece from Audi masterfully interweaving the companies race history into the RS performance line of road going vehicles. 

The story of the 24 Hour LeMans victory in 2001 exemplifies the engineering behind these amazing cars.

Special effects experts, The Mill, recently released their 2012 reel which is mind blowing. 

If this doesn't convince you to work with them, I don't know what would.

An amazing ad for the Paralympic Games. 

Beyond the beautiful shots the sequences of athletes and the back story to their handicaps is very compelling and along with the soundtrack the spot does an amazing job of capturing the spirit of the games. 

I have the utmost repset for these athletes.

Awesome video promoting Cadillac's new ATS sedan. 

Looks like the most amazing adventure ever and the setting for some of the shots lend a surreal backdrop for the beautiful car. 

I enjoyed the sequences that show the camera helicopter. It adds a production value by simply illuminated how the shots were captured.

This new promo from Airtime a new video chat service takes a page from the Dollar Shave Club and does an amazing job of explaining the service while using humor to entertain and engage. 

With the raise of video platforms such as Vimeo and Youtube companies have the ability to connect with potential customers outside of the mold of traditional 30 second TV spots.  

Video as a medium has the amazing ability to communicate while entertaining and has increased even more with the rapid adoption of social media.

But you probably already knew that.
