This 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro has been modified as an RS2-tribute. Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.2-liter 20V inline-five mated with a six-speed manual transmission, and additional modifications include a 2Bennett coilover suspension, RS5-style wheels, an RS2-style front bumper, and more as outlined below. The engine was rebuilt with ARP head studs, coated bearings, and a new timing belt, and a gloss blue vinyl wrap has been applied to the body.
A walk-around video can be seen above. The hood was replaced and a Reiger RS2-style front bumper was installed under previous ownership. An RS2-style grille, headlights, foglamps, turn signals, and mirrors have also been added, along with a replacement windshield and an S2 rear bumper, badge, and tinted taillights.
Aftermarket 18″ RS5-style wheels are mounted with 225/40 Pirelli P-Zero tires and H&R 10mm wheel spacers. A five-lug conversion was performed under previous ownership, and Audi A8 front rotors and A4 rear hubs were installed. The 2Bennett coilover suspension features Bilstein shocks and powder-coated blue springs.
The factory gray interior has been swapped with black leather components sourced from donor vehicles, including a black headliner with S2 plastics. Additional modifications include carbon fiber inserts on the doors, dash, ashtray, and trim surrounding the auxiliary gauges. An air-fuel sensor gauge has been mounted in the glovebox, and the battery has been relocated to the trunk.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed 01E Quattro TDI manual transmission and Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system.
