Okay getting this off my chest. I have a bit of a headcanon/theory for you guys.
So you know when Catra's inside Horde Primes ship and she suddenly sees a vision of her and Adora playing?
Yeah that just stuck with me. Like, why is there just a vision of the two of them, with the exact words Catra needs to hear, just there?
My headcanon is that it's Light Hope.
See, my headcanon or theory is that when Adora destroyed the sword, she librated Light Hope from the overwritten part.
She essentially becomes a "Ghost in the machine", that machine being Etheria. She knows about the true She-ra form so she uses the last vestiges of her strength to help Adora, trying to right her wrongs in some way.
When Prime sends his ships and clones to Etheria, she climbs onto their network since, like Prime said, it's a advanced version of First Ones tech. Once there she uses some her power to show Catra the vision, making her change. She then hitches a ride back on Mara's ship interface, then goes back into Etheria when they return.
When she senses Prime Hacking the planet she shows the vision of Catra to Adora.
Light Hope is showing Adora the key to unlocking the true form of She-ra. But Adora takes it the wrong way, thinking that it's instead that she's distracted by her relationships, by Catra. So Light Hope, in one final burst, brings Mara to Adora.
She has Mara tell Adora what she needs to hear, then fades away. Hoping that she did enough.
1. Every time these happen, it's in a mechanical area.
2. There's no logical reason for the visions being there.
3. When the scenes for Adora glitch into place, they have not only the same color scheme for the glitches as Light Hope's illusions, but they are also the same color scheme as Light Hope herself.
4. Noelle has a thing for mirroring things from early seasons onto later ones, i wouldn't put it past her to have this happen.
5. They're always implying Catra and Adora needing to get together.
Just that's my theory or headcanon.
