Further messing about with watercolour-y brush in grease pencil. The "build" modifier in blender makes it really easy to produce this sort of time lapse, although not in real time. The paper texture background is procedural too, following this tutorial on youtube. Tune is "Esok Pasti Jumpa (Kau Keluhkan)" by Banda Neira (2013)

Been trying to make my own watercolour-y brush in grease pencil for a while now. Not the best at settings tweaking, but I suppose I manage to get something that is kind of OK. Rather pleased with the ink wash - like look achieved here. P.S.: I've you're watching the animation video with audio on, the song is by Singaporean Najip Ali, the song is "Alamak Ooniknya!" (1995).

I've been wanting to do another digital ink sketch in grease pencil for so long. Finding a subject to draw is the hardest part for me. With blender 4.5 new compositing features, we get to add some nice texture & weathering touches to the drawing =)
