I wish they made art books for Monster High and Ever After High. With like concept art for the different lines, and characters through different stages of their development. Maybe designs for characters and dolls they decided not to use. And there could be stuff about the movies and webisodes, they can talk about the direction and mood they were going for and show backgrounds and stuff. Oh, and it would be amazing to see prototypes of dolls, like heads and bodies they made before getting the final look, since I imagine they had to mess around with them a bit to get them how they wanted.

I just find it so interesting, I really wish there was more of that kind of stuff for us to look at.

I would love a "coffee table book" with concept art/thought processes/who contributed what to each doll line. This is a brilliant idea and I hope Mattel does it!

Dear McDonalds (and Target for that matter),

Thank you for finally realizing the Happy Meal potential of Monster High !

While I'm very happy with your recent offerings of MH merch (Ra knows I live for those little monsters), I'd just like to let you know that they aren't just for Halloween. Yes, I know, they're monsters, its appropriate, but some of us happen to love Monster High all year round.

Crazy, right?

So Target, if you could offer year round dollar items (even just a few more times a year than September when you have the Halloween stuff out), that'd be great. YOU should know better! The dolls are a pretty big thing at your store! 365 days! (though admittedly, probably moreso at Christmas :P ) Still, they have a whole half-a-shelf to themselves! That's not bad ;)

And McDonalds- maybe if these do well, can we get some mini figures or something of the ghouls and boys, outside of Halloween? please o please? Trust me, you'll be selling them by the bucket-full. ;D

We'll be waiting. Indeed, we have been.

There are MH fans who understand we don't actually intend on punching a kid in the face, then there are those too stupid to realize this and explode and do the whole "it's a children's toy" thing.

Considering both of the two packs retail at 29.99, it’s safe to say that MLP Equestria Girls are NOT cheaper than MH.

Ok, thats one two-pack. But... Just got back from Target, the "budget" Twilight was $12.99, with non articulated legs and arms, WITH A PLASTIC BODICE and skirt) while fully-articulated Scaris Ghoulia with clothes the other dolls can wear was $10 (though the other budget MH dolls are about $12.99).

Then you have the $19.99 dolls- a Rainbow Dash with another outfit and pair of boots (are they peg legs, too?) and a strand of hair for you, vs. I'm sorry. Skelita's sculpt. And the MH dolls have individually sculpted faces... AND ABBEYS EARRINGS ARE MEASURING SPOONS. And I took a close look at the EG jacket- it looks almost as good as a Bratz one, with no detail at all.

I know you have to take each stores prices into account (they're pretty similar at Walmart), but I'm sorry, even if I wasn't a fan of MH, I'd have to say they are the best value as far as a collectors concerned (looks/details). As a parent, I consider the EG dolls to be too expensive for what they are (same face sculpt, clothing that differs from the show), and feel like with Novi Stars, they'll drop in price at Target/Walmart from $19.99 to $14. They sell a little better, sure, but only at Target. They're sitting around at Walmart and TRU right now (at least in my area.

Just my two cents.

Do you see the prices? What the hell with the inconsistency in Targets pricing. Here- Dance Class are $15, Roller Maze $12 and Scaris $12,

At the Target a few miles up, both Dance Class and Roller Maze are $12 and Scaris is $10 (not on clearance- their regular prices)

And at the Target north of that one, the prices also differed (The Wolf Sister pack is $29.99 at one at $34.95 at this one.

This irks me, cause I hate when I get a doll at my nearby Target and then find her a week or two later for less!!  WTF TARGET?

I sold all of my old girls for retail (complete, OOB) because I bought them for retail originally. I was trying to make room/make some of my money back. That’s all.

I got a Basic Ghoulia and DotD Frankie last Christmas for pretty close to retail price. Same with my basic Abbey (after the rerelease was out of stores). Either from ebay or collectors. Its not impossible at all

The only similarities I can find that shows that “someone’s copying the other" is the line names and ideas. Seriously, some of that stuff is really similar, but the dolls look nothing alike.

I am starting to hate Americas “Exlusively only from this store!”  custom.   It pervents lovely dollies form landing here!  Mattel customer service sucks too,  I got much better, liek 500x better service form importer. No Polterghoul or other superhero dolls here, no Scaris ghoulia or  Catrine, no Cupid, no Bloodgood, and other ones that has been exclusive too…  Mattel should get it’s sh*t straight and stop with the ridiculous exclusive thign so other countries get dolls too and theyt get money

That is unfair :( And no matter how willing I am to get dolls for folks overseas, the shipping prices keep going up- may as well pay ebay prices for what it costs to ship a couple dolls these days :C
