Pokemon Care || antheaandconcordia
Concordia sighed. “She’s entirely closed off. She won’t speak to Anthea and she has too many mental blocks up for me to even try to see what she’s feeling.” The blonde shook her head, watching as the dog poked at its companion and roused the ferret. The Furret yawned widely, stretching out on the rock before whipping her head up and blinking at each of the room’s inhabitants. Everyone filed away, she shifted, upsetting her Snubbull friend in her efforts to get into a position where she could see everyone with her good eye.
Relocated to the ground the puppy huffed, trotting off to go continue its nap outside. Anthea gave the ferret a wave. “We haven’t actually found much way to communicate with her. For a little while we were trying flash cards and those worked okay, but basic ideas with pictures are hard to be specific about. We weren’t even very sure she was interpreting them the way we meant. Elise has been asking around the pokemon center to see if any of the nurses know anything about teaching pokemon sign language though.”
As Anthea spoke, the Furret leaned over the rock towards Alex, sniffing at her curiously.
The young woman listened to the pinkette speak and extended her hand, palm down, towards the Pokemon to let her sniff it. The Furret's plight was very unfortunate, but it was one that Alex had heard before. She personally had only had experience with an already trained deaf Pokemon, not one that was untrained. Her Luxray, satisfied that the ferret on the rock wasn't going to attack her trainer, rolled to her feet and padded towards Concordia. She stared at the blonde with piercing eyes before nudging her hand and demanding attention.
"...A trainer I met back in Sinnoh had a deaf Poochyenna that he managed to battle with. I never asked exactly how he trained her, but he did teach me a couple of the motions." She gave a small shrug, shifting her position to sit neatly on the grass and unsling her purse from her shoulder. "Most of what I learned isn't particularly helpful though, since I don't intend to use Furret for any battles. Not unless she would like to partake in them of course."
"But, we wont be getting anywhere with anything if we don't gain her trust a bit. From what you told me she's still a bit closed off from communications it seems..." The heiress mused as she rifled through her purse, eventually producing a small case. "Ah, here it is!" Opening the case revealed several colored Poffins, which Alex looked at closely before turning her attention back to the Furret.
"Let's see...I'm getting a...Careful nature from you? Though it could also be Quiet...No, no. It's definitely Careful. Which would mean that you prefer...Bitter Poffins." Humming to herself, she looked back down at the Poffin box before plucking out a green colored pastry, which she then offed to the Furret with a smile. "Here you go! Let's see if I've still got my touch..."

Anthea nodded, following after the woman. Sure enough, Concordia was tending to eggs there, going from box to box and adjusting heat lamps as needed. With the added capacity, Concordia found herself busier than usual, though thankfully the others stepped in to help some times. Today Elise had taken the day off from volunteering at the pokecenter to help with the larger pokemon down by the lake.
"Concordia! This is Alex Rosewood." Anthea’s introduction drew the blonde’s attention away from the nesting boxes. She smiled, bowing in greeting.
"It’s a pleasure to meet you, I heard all about how you saved my sister from a rather handsy man, thank you very much. I also read over your application, here’s the dear here." Concordia waved over to the heated sunning rock where the pink ferret was draped. Curled on top of the larger pokemon was a smaller than average Snubbull. The dog had given Alex and Anthea only a passing glance when they’d entered, ears perking at the noise. The Furret hadn’t so much as twitched.
"She likes napping with a buddy. Makes her feel safe having someone who can raise alarm if need be."
"My, you all seem to have gotten larger in terms of charges and expansions to the house-it looks nice." The trainer observed upon walking into the nursery, her eyes being pulled first to their surroundings then to the other woman. Luxray let out an almost purr of appreciation at the sight, picking up Alex's pleasure at the improvements as the Pokemon casually observed the other Pokemon in the room.
She had been expecting the sister of Anthea to have been pink or some other unique colored type of hair so Alex was a little surprised when the other woman turned out to have perfectly normal colored blonde hair. Maybe pink was a recessive gene in the line. Nontheless, she returned the bow with an automatic curtsy, flashing her a similar smile. "It's wonderful to meet you as well-and that was nothing. I saw that she needed help so I helped. It's in the nature of a lady to help another in need. Or at least it's my nature."
Spotting the two Pokemon on the rock her expression brightened even more. "Oh my, she's lovelier than I expected...Has any progress been made with communicating with her?" Alex asked, making her way over to the napping pair. She smiled at the Snubbull even as she crouched down a ways away, just far enough not to startle them should they feel skittish. Luka halted just behind her, golden eyes fixing on the littler Pokemon before she yawned and flopped down onto the ground, laying her chin down on her paws.
It was a relief that this stranger and her Pokemon had reacted so calmly to the Lillipup’s energetic greeting. He was still very young and small. It wouldn’t be too difficult for the pup to be seriously injured if he were mistaken for a wild Pokemon and ended up in the middle of a battle. Then again, you wouldn’t normally see a wild Pokemon in a town like Aspertia, and the girl was smart enough to realize he wasn’t one after all.
The Luxray by the other trainer’s side momentarily gained Cheren’s attention as she walked over to him, and he gave the Pokemon a moment of silence to investigate. Checking to see if a stranger is a threat, apparently? That was a sign that this was a smart and protective Pokemon. She must care about her trainer a lot.
"No, he’s not mine." Cheren answered with a shake of his head. "This Lillipup is one of the Pokemon that stays at the trainer school." He looked from the girl to the pup in his arms and frowned at the small creature, whose unhappy expression made it quite clear he felt the same way the gym leader did. "He tried to sneak out of the enclosure while a student was entering the building. The younger Pokemon are always too energetic."
With a sigh, the raven-haired trainer looked up from the Pokemon and replaced his displeased expression with an appreciative smile. “I’m glad you were here. If he hadn’t picked you to be his new playmate, I’m not sure how far away he would have ran.” Besides that, she had also been very polite about the situation. Some people become easily agitated when things like this occur, so it was his good luck that she happened to be one of the nicer trainers around the area.
"Oh, I see. I wasn't aware that there were Pokemon that stay at the school." Alex mused with a slight tilt of her head, looking at the energetic little Pokemon in his arms. "Are they kept there just as class pets, or are they used for teaching purposes as well?" Being from a well-to-do family, she had never attended any public schooling. Private tutors were all that she had ever encountered, she really had no clue of how a classroom education usually went.
"I can only imagine how they must be. I haven't had much experience with Lillipups, seeing as my only personal encounter was catching one and trading it to my friend for a Shinx." Luka puffed up her chest in an almost proud way at the mention of her younger self. "All the baby Pokemon I've dealt with have behaved in a similar way though. My Skitty I had was particuarly excitable."
"And it was no problem. Luka was actually the one that spotted this little guy first. She brought me over to him and he came to me, though he wasn't feeling too keen on letting me catch him, the little rascal." Alex reached out to pet the pet the pup on the head, scratching behing his ears.
"...Oh! Pardon my rudeness. I haven't introduced myself-My name is Alex and this is one of my partners, Luka." She smiled at him warmly as her Pokemon let out a soft cry at her name, her tail lighting up a bit. "Do you perhaps teach at the school? You seem a little old to be one of the students...Or at least I'm assuming you're a little old. I'm not quite sure how this kind of schooling works...."

"Ethan’s just a tad cautious about things larger than him. I think that’s part of the reason his pokemon of choice have always been small," Rood mused. "But he’s not one to bear any ill-will."
Anthea shook her head at Alex’s question. She’d brought her sister’s Oshawott on her way back and after the Water type sprayed the first man to make Anthea uncomfortable in the face she’d had no trouble. Not long after Concordia had found her and people were even less of a problem. The blonde had been rather good at maneuvering them away from people with ulterior motives.
"Last night went just fine actually." The pinkette smiled. "Ah, but you came here to see the Furret. Which is actually my sister’s domain. She should be tending to eggs about now in the nursery. Furret’s probably in there too, she likes to nap on our sunning rock."
"Oh no, it's completely understandable. Big Pokemon can be intimidating I suppose." Alex replied with a light laugh.
"I'm relieved to hear that. I would hate for you to experience even more unpleasantness from people who are supposed to be from such a high caliber." She mused, running her fingers through Luka's thick mane. It always disgusted her how those gentlemen always felt so priviledged when they had no right to. That was probably the reason she felt no attraction towards the sons of the other familes. The ones she meant tended to be such a rude lot.
At the mention of Furret Alex perked up. "Oh! How is she? Have you all made any progress with the dear?" The eagerness was obvious in her voice. The heiress had been excited ever since she had sent in the application. She hadn't recieved a new Pokemon in ages, and one like Furret would be so interesting to travel with.
"Shall we make our way to the nursery then? I'm eager to meet both Furret and your sister." Alex said, the question a bit redundant as she was already heading towards the nursery. Luxray fetched her hat from the table and bounded behind her trainer, tail glowing slightly as she picked up on her partners eagerness.
Cheren quietly walked around the exterior of the school, carefully searching over the area. Moments before, a student had come to him in distress, telling him that one of the Lillipup had run out of the safety of the enclosure when she had tried to enter the building. The student had returned to her class, but now the gym leader was responsible for finding the missing Pokemon before it got itself into some sort of trouble.
By this point, Cheren had searched the entire backyard of the school and walked around one side of the building while looking for the Lillipup. Enough time had passed that the young Pokemon could be anywhere on the school grounds, or even somewhere else in Aspertia. His search continued at the front of the building where he looked through each bush carefully to see if the Lillipup was hiding. He was just considering asking another teacher to assist him in looking for the lost pup when something caught his eye.
Just beyond the front yard of the school, there was a trainer who seemed to be about the same age as Cheren, and running around by her feet was a small Lillipup, clearly excited to be running around without supervision. The gym leader quickly made his way over to the girl and scooped up the unsuspecting pup. The Pokemon seemed surprised, and just a bit disappointed that it had been caught, but didn’t resist.
"I’m sorry about that." Cheren spoke with an apologetic smile, "We don’t usually let our Pokemon run around without guidance."
It was Alex's first time in Aspertia City. It wasn't her first time traveling down in the lower reaches of Unova, as she had paid plenty of visits to Virabanks City to visit the Pokestar Studios and had even made her way to Floccesy Ranch where she met one of her partners. But never had she journeyed any further than that-there just wasn't any reason to. It wasn't like it held any big attractions. Or at least it hadn't before.
Now it seemed that this little unassuming part of Unova was the hometown to two of the strongest trainers in the region. What about this place had led to developing such talent? Being on the path of eventually challenging the League herself, the trainer had been curious, and that curiosity was what had brought her here to stand in front of the Pokecenter with her Luxray.
"...There really isn't much here, is there?" Alex finally said, looking around at their surroundings. Her companion wasn't listening though, choosing instead to stare off in the direction of the nearby school, golden eyes fixed on something only she could see. A low growl in the Pokemon's throat alerted her partner to the Luxray's interest, and the two made their way over to the building. Luka had an uncanny sense of finding things of importance, so her trainer had no qualms about following her Pokemon to see what she had found.
The young heiress hadn't expected to find a Lillipup running around without supervision. The Pokemon seemed used to people, as it ran over to the trainer without hesitation, but it didn't seem in any hurry to be caught by the teen. Luxray watched with what seemed to be amusement, only letting out a soft chuff at the approach of a strange man, who promptly caught the pup without any problems.
Alex looked up at the newcomer, a quick glance taking in the sharply dressed young man. At his apology she shook her head, adjusting her hat with a slight smile. "No need to apologize. I was just wondering what a little Pokemon was doing out here all alone-the pup seemed too used to people not to belong to someone."
Luxray padded up to the male, observing him with cold golden eyes before turning her attention to the puppy in his arms. Satisfied that he posed no immediate threat, she returned to the side of her trainer, leaning against her for a pet. The trainer complied automatically while keeping her curious eyes on the man.
"So is this your Pokemon then?"

The Chatot looked right back at the lion, narrowing its eyes and squawking out, “Do you taxes! Tax time!” Whistling it fluttered over to the dining table, taking refuge behind a cereal box. Rood chuckled, reaching over to pet the bird.
"Afraid Anthea’s not to blame. Too good to dabble in idle gossip! No, Ethan was the one who reported that. Good lad if overly skittish. Got into a conversation with Concordia about her Oshawott and your name came up. Nothing unflattering, you needn’t worry." Actually breakfast after the benefit had been quite the affair. A highly entertaining one at that. It had been quite educational hearing the various recounts of the evening.
Anthea gave Alex an apologetic smile. “You know how it is in close quarters. Everything is news and nothing’s a secret.”
"Ethan...? The shy man from the other night?" Another smile graced her lips and she fiddled with the hat she held in her hands that she had removed upon entering the building. Luka reached forward and took the hat gingerly in her mouth before padding over to place it on the table, ignoring the Chatot completely. Alex waited until the Luxray had returned to her side before resuming speaking. "I remember him. Samurott was quite fond of Ethan, told me that his squeakings were amusing. I'm glad there was nothing unpleasant mentioned with my name."
The young woman waved away Anthea's apology, her expression pleasant. "I don't mind at all. You all are close so it seems only natural to share things of that nature." Luxray crept forward and nudged at her now free hand, prompting the trainer to scratch behind the Pokemon's ears as she continued.
"So everything went well then, I take it? Was your sister alright?" Alex asked, remembering the trouble Anthea had had before with the rude man. "You didn't run into anymore trouble?" She seemed genuinely worried as she patted the Luxray's head.

Today’s living room population consisted of Rood at the dining table with a newspaper, Anthea squeezing lemonade and a Chatot perched on the couch giving Alex a curious look.
"Surprise! Happy Birthday!" The bird squawked noisily, flapping its wings in greeting. Rood peered over the top of his paper before setting it down on the table.
"Well hello lass." That was enough to prompt Anthea to look over her shoulder even as the Chatot echoed Rood’s greeting. Apparently the bird was just full of phrases and had no concept of when any specific one was appropriate. Anthea hushed the avian, wiping her hands clean as she went to greet Alex.
"Alex, it’s lovely to see you again! Sage Rood, this is Alex Rosewood, she’s the one I told you about."
"Ah, yes, the one with the affectionate Samurott. You made quite the impression Miss Rosewood. Well met lass!"
Luxrayl ooked up at the voice of the Chatot, her golden eyes narrowing automatically in a predatorial manner. But she was well trained, and instead of indulging her hunting instincts the Pokemon looked away, turning her attention back to her trainer. Only the twitch of her tail betrayed her interest in the other occupants in the room, ignoring them with a cool indifference.
"Ah, Anthea! It's nice to see you as well! How as everything been going for you and the center?" Alex asked, beaming brightly at seeing the older woman. Even though their interactions had really only been limited to that night at the party, she already had grown fond of the pinkette. She was kind of like the person Alex would like to have as an older sibling.
Looking at the sage, she did her usual curtsy, a habit picked up from both the lessons she took and times spent on stage for contests. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Sage Rood!...You've heard of Samurott?" She was mildly surprised. Did Anthea tell him of her Pokemon and his behavoir?

Alex clicked off her Xtransceiver, slipping the device into her purse before looking around. She had had decided to visit Nimbasa City-more for the amusement park than anything else. Although she would never admit it, the teen was rather fond of the area, especially the ferris wheel. The whole having to find strangers to ride with her was off-putting though, and more often than not she ended up not going at all. Today, unfortunately, was such a day. Oh well, there was always another day.
Motioning to the Luxray beside her, the young heiress stepped onto the bridge that connected towards Driftveil, her mind occupied with the thought of meeting her potential new Pokemon. Hearing the Furret's plight had immediately called to her, and before she knew it she was putting in an application. This would be a challenge, but one that she would take on gladly. Hopefully she could figure out a way of communication with the deaf darling.
A soft growl caught her attention, and Alex looked up. They had entered the city, and the Luxray beside her was lifting her nose to sniff the air around them. Patting the Pokemon on the head, the Trainer looked around, taking in the sight of the quaint little city before heading up the hill and to the center, Luxray beside her with every step.
"We're going to meet a new friends today, Luka. Hopefully we can figure out a way to help her..." The Luxray rrrrr'd slightly, gleaming eyes looking up at the teen brightly as they walked into the building. Alex absentmindedly tapped the Poffin Case in her purse as she looked around the room for one of the workers.
((...If I write a starter, would anyone be interested in rping with Alex or her Pokemon? Anyone at all?))
[Lovely! Someone is always in the house, though it’s usually me! Feel free to drop by anytime. I’ll let her know you’re dropping by but I’m honestly not sure if any of my gestures mean anything to her!]
[Alright, I might stop by today then. I'm just the next city over so I'll finish up here and head on over. I can't wat to meet her!]
Zoey huffed, turning back to the TV and sticking her tongue out at Louis and a Samurott in turn. “Oh it’s perfectly fine.” Anthea offered the girl an apologetic smile. “Everyone gets excitable about one thing or another. I’m sure Concordia will be just as excited when she does get back from the party.” The pinkette sighed. “I should probably go back in case she’s looking for me.”
"Yes, I suppose you're right." Alex agreed with a nod before standing up upon hearing the other's words. "Well, if you're going to go then I think I shall take my leave as well. I wouldn't want to impose on your hospitality any longer than needed on this late night, and my Pokemon and I have an important meeting to attend to tomorrow."
The young lady placed her hat on top of her head before looking over at her Samurott. The big Pokemon gave the 'squeaky' male on the couch one last snuffle before padding willingly back to his trainer and returning to her pokeball. Making sure she had all her Pokemon and equipment in her purse, Alex cast another glance around the room then dropped into a polite curtsy in front of Anthea.
"Pleasure to make you and your workers' aquaintances, Anthea. It was quite an honor to meet such dedicated individuals." Straightening up, she smiled sweetly before continuing as she headed towards the door. "I hope to be able to visit again soon. Have a pleasant rest of the night~! And Anthea, make sure to watch out for creeps back at the ball!"
"Heh…. yeah… boys and girls…" Hugh made a face. "Mostly girls but I guess, I’m one of those… unfortunate ones.” He sighed. He highly doubted that most guys had people trying to peek at them while naked but he really wouldn’t know. Not when he was too focused on himself.
"But as for Liepard…." Hugh’s face had a twinge of sadness. "Well she always disliked me but it wasnt anything like this.. She was a Purrloin last time I saw her but Team Plasma came and stole her. And I ouldn’t do anything at the time. I was so weak…” He looked away as he frowned. “I got her back, but not before she evolved and hated me now more than ever. She doesn’t even like my sister anymore. I’ve been trying to fix it. but it’s taking a little long than expected…”
He backed up and laughed as she spoke the last few sentances. “I try to be strong. not just for my sister but for myself. So I guess thanks for the compliment.” Wow, he sounded absolutely full of himself. Well he was just stating his thoughts. “Well alright then…. I mean there’s the lookout here. The view up there is rather great.”
'You could consider yourself that, or you could think of yourself as lucky that your appearance is a desireable one. It's just unfortunate that it attracts unsaverory types." She mused, tapping her cheek with a finger thoughtfully. The young woman oftentimes felt sorry for the general public celebrities-they had to go through so much on a day to day basis. Perhaps this young man's situation was similar.
The story of the Purrloin's plight was an upsetting one to say the least. Alex wracked her brain, trying to think of ways to help him before realizing that he probably didn't want her advice. But she would give it anyway. "Have you tried coaxing her with treats? I know the Pokemon at the rescue often would relax and become a bit more friendly towards strangers if they were offered a well made Poffin or two." She actually had a couple in her purse. One couldn't be labled as a Queen of Poffins without keeping up their baking skills after all.
"Oh, so you are one of those noble hearted people? Full of honor I suppose." The teen smiled at the other before tilting her head. "...Lookout? I've never heard of the lookout, but then again this is my first time travelling this far..."
Anthea nodded, smiling brightly. She supposed Alex was right in a way. Money had quite a way of making you indebted to people. Maybe that was why the few checks Concordia had gotten out of people when the siblings were still together had always been accepted with, “Thank you kindly for your gift.” Gifts implied a lack of strings. You just gave it to be a good person. Anthea had to wonder what it was about the word donation that came with strings.
"We’ll certainly do our best. Thank you, again."
"This place is gonna be awesome,” Zoey chipped in, leaning on the couch arm. Anthea suspected some of the girl’s exuberance had to do with the looming promise of her own bedroom though. After living in barracks conditions and then youth hostel conditions the prospect must have been quite exciting. “We’re gonna get ourselves a lake or something! And a sand box! Maybe!”
"We’re going to ask Zoey to be quiet so some of us can hear the results of the hurdle race."
"I'll be back to make sure that you are...~" Alex said with a light titter, waving away the thanks once again. Really, she had no use or need for such appreciation. As stuck up as she may have appeared, she really did care about Pokemon, perhaps more than people. If she could help them in any way possible she would without a second thought.
Samurott seemed to agree with the spoken sentiment, letting out a puff annoyance as he eyed the excited teen before looking back at the television. He wanted to watch what was going to happen, and the girl was being rather loud. His trainer watched him with an amused smile before shaking her head.
"I'm sorry, he can be rude sometimes but he loves his television like some of my other Pokemon. If Krookodile was out he'd be right up there with that bunch at the couch, cheering alongside with them."
"No… It doesn’t." Hugh grumbled. "And I do it because I don’t want anybody to come in and see me changing. I really don’t like having people see my body. I guess I’m rather insecure about it." He shrugged.
"Well usually I’m fine. But last time I had a canine all over me, I came home and Liepard actually got out of her pokeball and slashed me up a few times. Nothing permanent. but the cuts stung so bad for a few weeks."
Hugh gave a slight nod. “Well, Alex, there is a gym but, as for tough trainers? I mean I live here and I have a few friends who live here but… they’re both gone. This town is rather quiet too. I don’t think you’ll find any other trainers like us around that easily.”
"Ah... that's good at least. I would hate to hear that you were often the victim of such treatment. I would also have to wonder what exactly it was that you did to deserve such a thing." Alex said, looking sympathetic. As the daughter of a rich family she oftentimes went through similar episodes, but so far no one has been brash enough to attempt to peep on her. "And I feel the same sometimes. I suppose it's hard for both guys and girls in this world of unholy expectations, no?"
The Liepard's behavior that he spoke of was more than a little odd. "Really? If you don't mind me asking, do you know what could cause such an intense dislike? It doesn't seem normal..." The trainer frowned, brows furrowing slightly. "At the rescue center I run with my friend, we often run into Pokemon who act like that because they've had a rather traumatizing experience..."
The mention of no trainers in town disheartened the teen even more. "...Yes, I was afraid of that. The ones that I had encountered were nowhere near what I was expecting, and I've already gotten a couple of gym badges so challenging the gym here wouldn't really be beneficial, unless I challenged him to an unofficial match. But leaders are always so busy I fear I would be wasting his time."
A light sigh escaped her lips before she turned her brown eyes towards Hugh. "And I fear you are too much for me to even consider challenging. You have this aura of strength around you that far outweighs my own." She admitted with a light chuckle and very unladylike shrug. "It's really a shame. We came all this way for naught."
"I wasn’t accusing you specifically. but there was some other who tried to get me naked. It’s stupid really. But they followed me home and somehow got to the window and tried to sneak a peak. Unfortunatly for them, I change in the bathroom, with the doors locked and with my Pokemon on guard. Plus, there’s no window…”
He was about to say that he hadn’t seen her Arcanine, he say it come up. “Uh… nice doggie? No, please don’t come close, I’m trying to get Liepard back to her normal self. She hates me already….” He backed away. Getting a canine scent would make the feline go nuts.
"S-So… Um.. You were just here for your Arcanine. Well that’s good then. Oh, I’m Hugh by the way."
"How rude." The lady frowned at hearing what had occured. "Do they have no sense of class or decorum at all? To attermpt to peep on anyone, male or female, is absurdly idiotic. But that is a lot of protection...Does this sort of thing happen to you often?"
Arcanine let out a soft whimper, sensing his reluctance to be close to her. But she was good dog, so she obediently backed up a few steps and plopped her rump down on the ground, wagging her tail slowly. Alex pressed the button on her pokeball and the canine disappeared in a flash of red light.
"My apologizes, my darling tends to get a little bit touchy with new faces. She's a good guard dog when it matters though." At the introdution, the teen dropped into a slight curtsy, flashing a bright smile at the male.
"My name is Alex. Pleasure to make your aquaintence, Hugh." Straightening up, she tapped a finger on her lips, the smile still on her face. "My team and I are also here to train for our upcoming gym battle. We heard there were some pretty tough trainers from here."

"So while I was trying to calm down all day yesterday, you guys show up. But wait, some of you have been here since N tried to strip me. Actually I think joined of you joined his cause." Hugh clenched his fists as rage started to build up inside of him. But He took a breath and tried to calm down. "So What? You guys just stood outside my door and waiting for me? What the hell, that’s creepy."
Alex was rather taken aback by the other teen's harsh tone, and what he was potentially acccusing her off. Which she had absolutely no clue of. Regardless, she was not going to stand by and let him even hint at herself being involved in such a crass situation.
"...Pardon? I am afraid I have no idea of what it is you are hinting at. Who tried to what to you?" The trainer tilted her head, fixing her hat in the proccess as she stared up at the male. "I assure you I have just arrived here, and therefore could not be involved in such an activity."
Alex pursed her lips slightly and peered around for a moment before sighing. "I am here merely because my Pokemon decided to go on a run without me. I don't suppose you have seen an Arcanine around-Oh, nevermind, here she comes."
The large firedog emerged from behind the other's house, panting after her run after a wild Pidove. Seeing her trainer she let out a bark and bounded up to the teen, knocking off her hat before turning her attention to the stranger and snuffling his hair.
