Puppy Eyes Photo Tutorial

Hi Guys, this is Chii blogging ヾ（ ❀◕◡◕ฺฺ ）ノ【*Η*Ε*Ļ*О*О*】ヽ（◕◡◕❀ฺ ）ノ\\

long time no see!~

This is a tutorial of my latest favorite eye-do style inspired by my idol Tsubasa Masuwaka.

The main idea is elongating your eyes and making 'em bigger and yet looking softly cute :D LIKE THIS :

If you're interested, read on!~

1. Starts with a clean well-moisturised face. A smooth base important~

2. Put on your favorite foundation and (if you need to, fill in the gaps in the eyebrows)

3. Draw eyeliner on. I started with light brown pencil liner, and slowly work my way out without extending it. I then use liquid liner to draw the liner shown in the picture and extending it downward (be careful to not make it too long though! :D, mine was kind of too long, in the beginning)

4. Connect the edge of liner (from the top lashes) to your lower lashes. The outer edge liner should be further down than your actual one and increasingly as you work your way into the inner corner, it should get closer to the actual line

5. Curl your lashes and apply fake lashes. The lashes i'm using is Dolly Wink no. 9 (natural dolly)

6. put on the bottom lashes following the liner that you've put on previously. (I used the Dolly Wink no. 6 but it'd be best to use a thinner and more subtle ones :D )

7. Put on white (or nude) eyeliner on the gap between your bottom lashes and the waterline. Also, put on some in the inner corner if you wish!~

8. STYLE YOUR HAIR :DD~

That's right! Collab look with Ina is inspired by none other than Jake the Magical dog! (man i keep making typos. "dog" becomes "god" or "sog")

Her half is on Lady Rainicorn!

  The fun and sarcastic sidekick to Adventure Time's flawless champ. Bubbly, goofy, and whatnot, I decided to pick this magical dog to do a look on! (Mind not that my shirt is the same colour as Finn's instead.)

WHAT'S ON THE FACE:

Etude House: All Day Strong BB Cream: on my dark circles and random blemishes

Dolly Wink eyeliner: applied on upper lids (rather thickly! Jake's eyes are ROUND ROUND ROUND!) and about half of the lower lash-line area. (?) not really winged! because Jake is a dog and not a cat!

Champagne and Orange eyeshadow: Champagne applied at the centre and orange near the edge. Glittery pale yellow instead of a matte canary yellow because the canine is magical after all. The orange to add dimension and and a bit more pizzaz.

Gold and Canary yellow eyeshadow + MAC MSF in Comfort: Cheeks! Again, a yellow because of Jake's fur(?) and because I wanted this look to be slightly non-conventional. The MSF used as bronzer to give that sun-kissed feel from all that adventuring!

MAC Hug Me + Body Shop Honey Bronze Lip Gloss: Natural with a slight orangey hue and shiny applied at the swell of the lips! Gotta be magical, yo. 

and yes that's a line-up of toys/figurines in the background. there's bumblebee!

To justify myself now than later: I actually splurged on a palette by dollface cosmetics last year to prevent me from getting a million tiny pans of eyeshadow. :) Cheap! Though they're not as pigmented as I would like, but with enough build-up should be alright. Man, I should review on this baby soon!

Yeah. Just in case people think I have lots on tiny pans, IT'S A LIE. 

EDIT: and I realise that the blush and eyeshadow colours don't show too well! I'l make sure to take better photos next time! Though they can be rather subtle, as I like to wear these looks out to town. So, wearable. :)

marceline, why you gotta be so mean

This look is inspired by none other than Adventure Time's Marceline the Vampire Queen! Though rather simple, I guess I liked it a lot because it kinda had spunk and I liked Marceline a lot. :) And primarily gray with colour accents! Totally my thing!

I actually looked rather pale that day, because instead of using blush, I used a iridescent purple eyeshadow on my cheeks that short of added dimension and had some sort of zombie/vampire feel to it. (not like it can be seen in photos though!)

POINT! the silver glitters on the lining(?) of the top and my favourite apple earrings!

This is one out of 2 AT looks that I wanted to do. The second one being a collab with my lovely bb Ina who did a look on Lady Rainicorn!

colour what you say

got around to shop recently, post-exam is rather free. :)

i present to you NYX round lipsticks in:

(from left to right) -ECHO   super nude~ creamy too! -PUMPKIN PIE   the more kawaii of the lot.   slightly shimmery, though i'm no fan of glitter   but the peachy colour was too nice to be pissed off sparkles -HERMES   bought it for the name (no, i'm serious)   because i learned the word 'hermeneutics' not too long ago :)   /NERD/   not disappointing at all!   muted/dull maroon colour

note: yes, echo and hermes are names from greek mythology! :) i was super amused to find such names for lipsticks, actually. and i like it when i am amused. :) there are also other names like muse, hera, hades... but they didn't really appeal to me. :/ so, too bad.

REVIEW:

colour: 8/10 they do come at a wide range, and i was very happy! :) but i was poor so i only got 3. ;_; woe is me.

pigmentation&texture: 7/10 the darker colours are fine..(hermes) but the lighter one (pumpkin pie) was a bit too sheer for my liking. but maybe it was supposed to be sheer? (echo) was alright. it might have been singapore weather, but it was kinda watery...

just that its more watery than MAC :( though if no comparisons were made, it's love but it's like a third of a MAC lippie's price, so i say it's worth it!!

packaging: 5/10 i mean, there could have been a better font choice and those squiggly lines :/ not a fan at all, but one does not wear the packaging but the product. sucker for nice packaging it's not really biggie

recommended for anyone out there looking for good lippies with a variety of colours that are at a cheapo price :)

Bad-ass Chii

Hi guys, I'm Chii, one of the gender-confused individuals that own adoragonball :)

*this is the most awkward post I swear*

This blog will feature Chii and Cha (who will post after this yay). We have different style so you can expect some variation :D.

Actually, I am not sure what I am. I once wanted to be gyaru, then lolita, and then wa-loli girl, and then, with such short hair cut, I guess I'd have to be bad-ass now :)

I went out last Saturday (05/11/11) with cape, lady gaga tank top, unflattering black jeans, loads of black eyeshadow, and knuckles ring~ finally my dream to be bad-ass is realized yay.
