Mj wasn't being sarcastic in his tweet. When has he ever been sarcastic? And what about it and it's tone made you think he was? He said it was cryptic, not sarcastic.

He was obviously being sarcastic. If you can’t see that, then I’m sorry.

When has MJ ever sent out a tweet apologizing for being confusing even for him?? That’s because in most of the tweets he has had, though they are very vague, everyone has more or less been on the same wave length with their interpretation.

Think about it. He only sent out a clarifying tweet apologizing because he suddenly saw all of these LM and RF shippers rejoicing because Lucas made the wrong choice, then MJ realizes: “wait that’s not what I meant, I thought more people would realize what I actually meant”, and then has to send out another tweet.

I don’t mean to be rude, but MJ is flat out mocking the LM and RF side of the fandom who think that MJ made the wrong decisions for HIS characters on HIS show, like he DOESN’T know what’s right or wrong for them. OF COURSE MJ MADE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR HIS CHARACTERS HE’S THE ONE WHO CREATED THEM, AND HE LOVES THEM SO HE DID WHAT WAS BEST FOR THEM.

He then goes on to say that the characters have a mind of their own; meaning that Maya was not coerced by Josh, she can make her own decisions, and Lucas was not coerced by Maya because it’s been Riley since day one and Lucas even rejected Maya in the ski lodge episode.

Like I’m sorry you can’t see this, at first I had no idea how MJ could’ve been being sarcastic, but after reading the tweets a few times and the clarifying tweet afterwards, I realized what he was trying to say.

And yes I know the difference between sarcasm and being cryptic. He was saying his original tweet as a whole was cryptic/confusing BECAUSE he was using sarcasm within the tweet and people took it completely in the opposite way he meant for them to take it, that is the ONLY reason why he made a clarifying tweet, because LM and RF shippers took the tweet in the wrong way. And he was seeing them all over his Twitter feed celebrating and realized he made a mistake thinking that the fandom interpreted what he was saying correctly; why would he say: “because we love the characters too”,after saying Lucas made the wrong decision in a tweet that wasn’t meant to be sarcastic? And then go on to say that the characters have minds of their own, if he didn’t mean that Lucas made the choice that came natural to him and what came from what HE wanted as a character? Plus they already debunked WITHIN the ski lodge episodes that Lucas and Maya would not work as a couple, Lucas does not except Maya for who she truly is, Maya doesn’t like Lucas and actually likes Josh, and Smackle is the one for Farkle. I’m sorry but because it was proven that Maya and Lucas don’t work in the long run; (Maya and Lucas are never going to happen) so there were no wrong decisions made.

Like please people just think a bit, I have a whole other post in depth of why the first tweet is sarcastic and if you want to read just scroll through my tumblr and you will see it specifically addressed to LM and RF shippers.

And what do you mean MJ has never been sarcastic?? I’m sure if you go back on his Twitter feed you will see some sarcastic/ironic or jesting tweets, trust me.

Hello GMW Fandom! So, with all the, for lack of a better term, nastiness in the fandom, I thought I’d try something that could maybe bring people together and have less hate on their dashes, about their ships, favorite characters, etc.

So, let me introduce you to a new network coming to a dash near you! The GMW Network. That’s right, Girl Meets World Network. Not made for one specific ship, or fav character, or anything like that, it’s gonna be for the whole show and to bring people together. I just want to have a nice place so people can talk about what they love about the show, love about the characters, and not be afraid of getting attacked because someone disagrees with their opinion.

About the Network;

This network is gonna be used so people can talk about GMW in a hate-free zone and not worry about being attacked.

Editors and non-editors welcome!! If you make GIFs or edit pictures, amazing! If you just write fics, good! If you do neither and just enjoy reblogging and talking to people, perfect!

There will be a private blog to talk on as well a s a tag to track to see everyone’s fics they write and edits that are made!

Gotta love all the characters. I don’t want anyone hating on Riley for being in the way of LM or people hating on Maya because she’s in the way of RL. Same with Farkle, Smackle, etc etc.

Be okay with other people’s ships, I.E. if you ship R/ucas, then you gotta be okay with Luc/aya and visa versa. I know there are some rude shippers in ever fandom, but that’s the point of this network. Weed those ones out.

Yeah I’m not buying the he only chose Riley because Maya told him too. Seeing how before Maya said “it’s me right?” And lucas so eloquently responded “uhhhh” followed by Mayas “its you and me forever” and again he said “uhhhh”. Maybe I missed something but that seemed like Lucas’ prime opportunity to reply “yes” if he had chosen Maya.

Also the fact that he had a purple jelly bean on the ready in a engagement ring box… He didn’t just put that together on a moments notice. No, he knew what his decision was and he had it prepared. His choice was Riley.
