Man. I do not want to look at old posts. Facebook memories alone... yikes.

What a time. I honestly am not sure what state of mind I'm in right now. Things are both fucked and fine. Let's lean towards fine for some sanity though.

I hate being this age and still feeling like I'm trapped by others' opinions and my assumptions. I'm trying... not to so much not care but put things into perspective.

Hey.

I just looked at my last couple posts. HAH! Omg what a laugh. It was nice actually liking someone though. Now it's back to nothing.

Getting older is pretty weird. Today I felt like I did years ago like in high school... like when I would take a walk and cry at the park or something. I think in these moments it's when I realize how alone I feel. I've done so many things by myself recently, which I do enjoy but jesus it sucks feeling so disconnected from people or worrying about how others feel about me when that shouldn't even matter. But ya, it's lonely.

I think I just need to sleep. Maybe I'll write more. Yeah, that's what I should do. Create something, even if it's bullshit.

Things have been fine for the most part. I need to stop thinking that the world is against me and just start making things happen as opposed to letting things happen or pass by.

I'm constantly looking for advice when I already know what I need to do.

This shouldn't be such a big deal but man. Kinda feels like a punch in the gut since this has been one of the things that made me feel anything.

Like, why do we crave connection to feel validation or happiness?

I really just want to stay home and hang out with my cat.

So... I've been feeling weird lately. I'm probably overreacting but starting a new job, kinda developing feelings for someone, being unsure about what I really want...

I don't feel absolutely horrible. I'm just overwhelmed. I think I haven't been this stimulated with feeling in so long that I don't really know what to do with it.

uh... start a job at the county I guess? Not like I’ve never done it before but... like someone. *cough*

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

eh. Sure, I’d like to get more fit but am I going to go through what I should? I’d like to think so but I’m a lazy fuck. 

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nah.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

I wasn’t close to him but one of my coworkers when I worked with my uncle died. That really tripped me out and it’s just crazy how I’m never gonna see him again.

5. What countries did you visit?

just good ol’ America!

6. What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017? A more refined brain. Like I want to be more knowledgeable in shit. I want to read more. 

I also need to just make out with someone. (jk kinda)

er, I guess getting a full time job.

crying after some client yelled at me on the phone.

I ended the year with mucus in my throat. fucking shit.
