Exeter streets (Photo-set 1) This is my first proper shoot with the Canon 85mm 1.8. A bizarre combo of crop sensor and large focal length make this a strange choice for street photography but for me I like the intimacy. More to follow. Equipment Used : Canon Rebel t2i (550d) and 85mm 1.8

Sunset at Churston Cove,  taken on the hills above a local beach where many meet for party's in the summertime and a place of which I adore.

The artistic technique of creative mirroring was employed here once again, to achieve the final shot. To get calm streets and gentle lighting I took to the streets in the relatively afternoon on a Sunday where the sun was bright and everyone was still in bed enjoying the usual post-Saturday chill out. I took a wide shot to draw focus to the large holiday resort type structures and capture curvature of the town, which is a common architectural occurrence in the bay.
