I’m gonna reread all of Black Butler up to the current chapters and blog about the experience for funsies, but writing out all the arcs and how long they are made me have a realization: Black Butler and Twisted Wonderland are suffering from the same story structure issues of arcs being really short in the beginning of the story then inching along at a snails pace towards the end of the story where we got hundreds of chapters with no end in sight;

They played that one lost song in the bg of the Backrooms movie, all the best references to the irl liminal space pictures people share were there but also hard to appreciate bc they were in a very scary part, and now I have the urge to wax poetic on memory and how it effects the feelings we get when seeing or experiencing a liminal space.

Anyway, Backrooms was a 10/10 watch. Def recommend

Epel's dads

At first, this comic was only supposed to be 2 pages, the first and the 3rd one. But i wanted to draw Ruggie making fun of Leona, so I added page 2. (and yes, I love their spelldrive uniform but GOSH the leg protections is a pain to draw!)

then the last page... don't know, i though it was funny if Vil and Leona got the same idea at the same time to make fun of Epel but didn't expect the other to do it x). It made me laugh when I wrote it.

Epel's embarassement is as the same level as calling your teacher "mom" or "dad" btw.

I actually wanted to add a part with Jack jealous (especially toward Leona) but unfortunately, I didn't got the right idea so I just stop there :').

Robots was a crazy film for 2005. It has the evils of capitalism, evils of corporate culture, planned obsolescence, only one woman in the boardroom (she’s being harassed), designating people ‘outmodes’ then kidnapping them, nepotism, sweepers roaming the street to take whoever they think looks like an ‘outmode’ whether they are or not, immigrants having to change their names (bumper), community action being crushed by the CEOs, supposed leaders not actually doing anything to help, the way to solve the problem is to band together as a community to kill the CEOs or leave them hanging stripped of their ‘parts’

The way adult fandom people hold indie online creators and cartoons to a much higher standard than their actual local politicians. You could be putting that energy into terrorizing and protesting conservatives at your town hall and actually make a good material impact on the world but instead you're background checking everything the trans woman who made the amazing digital circus has ever said
