the thing about media literacy is that understanding why the author chose to specify that the curtains are blue is the same skill set as understanding that the way the author characterizes all black characters as angry or all chinese characters as meek and silent is racist. it is the same skill set as being able to identify when a news source is biased or when someone is feeding you propaganda. the ability to ask "why did this person choose to present this premise in this specific way?" is a critical skill in a world full of misinformation. why are the curtains blue? maybe it's a characterization detail. maybe it's extraneous worldbuilding. why is this character written as being right all the time? maybe you're intended to disagree with them. maybe it doesn't matter. maybe you should still ask why.
Need to put Waka in a little bag and shake it around a bit. In a positive and loving way.
After God Sketches
after god is kinda like those soulmates/romance as horror posts, and how love charms might work differently on people who are aromantic/asexual
not romance as horror like yandere or obsession, but the feeling of attraction itself as horror like "ive never understood this feeling, ive never wanted this feeling, but it is threatening to take over my entire self, it is invasive and non-consensual, an alien force, my mind and body are not on the same page and it's terrifying, i dont want this, but no one will ever believe me" and it is near-explicitly an aromantic and asexual narrative
yet at the same time it is about Love, romantic and platonic and otherwise, love that makes you kill, love that makes you kill yourself, love that makes you bring about the end of the world, and love that tries to save it. and how each character comes to their own acceptance of "i am in love" or "i will never be in love"

Only today i realised that this image of a shakin ouppy from After God that changed all my friends vocabulary for goob is not actually that well known
JUST LOOK AT THIS THANG
its so pathetic, absolute creature, i lov it
Awooo... Awooooo... Woo....
you ever stop to think how tokinaga lived years and years on a timeloop and even if his apperance resets at the start of each cycle he is...litteraly a senior citizen in the body of a twink. Nisroca you cannot expect the aroace 80 years old man to love Waka she is 18 this is an embryo

you can't convince me mandalorians don't fuck with people unfamiliar with their culture when in regards to their helmets. 100% any REAL mando, when faced with like, a jedi youngling or a sheltered outer rim kid who asks about their helmet, says, "Oh, yes. It's very tragic, really. When I was a child, i didn't put on enough sunscreen, and now i'm allergic to the sun." and the kid leaves, then promptly comes back covered in sunscreen, and the mando is just snickering under their helmet
