How does a waterfront tourist community dress up an ugly 6-point intersection that divides downtown from the harbor? On the cheap? With paint that suggests brick and references water. Hyannis, MA.

During demolition, we unexpectedly discovered a historic metal cannon buried under the concrete slab, and made sure it was preserved. That was fun.
