The Adventures of A Redheaded Wino

Of everything I know, I am positive about two things…. I have always liked being classy, and I have always liked drinking. Now I wonder why it took me so long to realize that I love wine and how great it is. I am not sure who I am quoting, but I am sure it has been said in history before, “Not a single war has broken out while drinking wine.” As opposed to most, however, I was put in the spotlight, and needed to learn about wine instantly and I was blessed with the best company that could exist. Shortly after taking a position as a wine broker at a private wine importer in Los Angeles, I knocked on my friend Ali’s door and begged her tell me everything she knew about wine. Ali told me what many people would soon inform me, the best way to learn about wine is to drink it! And so the drinking began …… and continues. I began the year 2011 with no knowledge of wine, and last month a guest at the restaurant I work at said, “Do you seriously know this much about wine?” Wine is something that I enjoy putting my time into and I truly feel that it is an adventure that I have began that will never end.

To ensure my good friend Jennifer K. Made it to her destination safely I gave her a dollar for charity and instructed her to donate it when she arrives at her destination.
