their magic.... I wanted to doodle something magus related before bed!

these aren't all encompassing, but they portray the main range of how magus's magic looks, feels, and smells! every wizard's magic is different. it's like languages can be entirely different while expressing the same idea.

the way I've drawn lifegiving magic and defensive magic are based on the actual appearance of their magic in the show! I think their magic is incredibly versatile and goes very far beyond what I've shown here.

lifegiving is something magus has very little control over. they have a disorder that causes excess magic pooling in their soul, which results in everything they touch gaining life. it's difficult to deal with, but they've found a way to work with it instead of against it. the jasmine tea smell is influenced by their mother, because she is the reason they were able to reshape their magic into something beautiful.
