here is my secret santa gift for @astraeus-trash! i participated with @arcanaeventhub and I had a blast! This is actually the second draft, I scrapped the first after I noticed the character change and just felt it easier to do something new rather than changing around and re-doing lines/color/etc for the first one.

I restored Nazali's full body sprite to the best of my ability, and i was happy every second of doing that because i love them to death. Please, all of you Nazali admirers, take this humble work.

I've always felt strong ace vibes from Nazali, you know? Probably even aroace? idk. I can imagine them being in a relationship and loving someone, but it's more soulmate and partnership thing in my mind, the one that involves caring for each other (and, of course, teasing each other, and occasional scolding for not caring enough for self, mostly from Nazali to you) but not kissing or flirting or something like that. I actually even have an MC who is an apprentice under Nazali and is madly in love with them, poor girl.

The full sprite belongs to Nix Hydra (obviously), what i meant by "restored" is that i took the lower part from this tiny and low-quality official full body sprite that we had, added it to the good quality upper part, manually overpainted it in order to make the quality match (more or less), and textured it. It's not perfect, but it's not terrible either :)

I played some games but I've never seen a fandom so active like the Arcana ( apart from Mystic Messenger of course).

Don't get me wrong. I love the arcana and I think that the fandom did help me continue to love it.

The creators did a good job with the fandom...

Usually games like this are a downoald, play, uninstall. But this game really brightens my day so I was thinking of doing stuff to make others enjoy it too.

I write but I am a perfectionist (Yesterday I started an headcannon for the arcana and I went from writing love dovey stuff to search more about the MBTI types because I didn't want to go uncannon.)

I didn't finish all the routes even if I started this game August 2020 🤭 so ... Yeah I want my headcannons to be as cannon as possible so I need time.

Right now at the part where Nadia needs a break after finding out Portia was the one writing letters, trying not to give in to building paranoid thoughts, having an emotional crisis, wrecking a carriage, carrying injured MC out of the rain (probably why I draw her with more arm muscle than she is drawn in game) while encountering a huge goat in a forest and breaking out in tears after 30 years.

How do ghosts work in Arcana? I have no idea. They seem to be retaining a bit of autonomy, and that may give the MC ability to consent to being brought back. Actually, we do have a difference between the people that crossed over and the phantasms that stayed behind, but that is discusion for another day.

2. How does your apprentice feel when they are called a witch? (Offended? Shrugs it off? Likes it?)

She actually affirms it, she loves her powers and doesn’t take it in a bad way.

7. What are their tasks around the shop? What can they make?

She does a bit of everything, specially when Asra is not in the shop. Lately, she’s been practicing with Potions. (She has to talk with people, so she has to practice a lot.)

10. Describe their magical abilities. What are they best at? Worst?

Miena before the plague was a great magicial. But after the plague, she had to learn everything from the start… She’s not good at fight with her magic (Due Muriel’s route, she has to learn to use it in that way). She prefers to help others with her magic or just simple things like lighting a dark room.
