honestly spider dream & nightmare were the easiest ones to place

i kinda wanted to keep it all lamtaf (the bug utmv), but i didn't have enough characters so all utmv, but i got stuck at the middle row and thought the Tower of the Gods trio would fit well in here so here we are

honestly Lea is a bit of a stretch, "I have no idea how I got here, even less where I am going" does fit, but she's more a victim of circumstance (like the others in the trio) and it's not (entirely) her fault.

Circ though fits literally every single column. one day this man centipede is going to kill someone.

I think Spider Dream could go into the "I'm making it everyone else's problem" column. He tries very hard not to make it other people's problem (and fails spectacularly).

the triangle thing can be seen as platonic or romantic (personally i think whatever they've got going on transcends typical relationship but that might just be me)

updating his design for artfight (he's here if you wanna grab him) his colors are... something. honestly i'm considering just making him 1 color for his outfit, 1 for his skull & 1 for his eyes but idk. i love the lineart but im not convinced with the colors (im using like 4 different shades of black for his outfit fnbdikfslefifnelf) anyways bro is a bastard and i love him for it

This is Alma, the 3rd guardian of Souls from Katakanaverse. He was created by Fara and Kali, the 2nd guardians of Life and Death respectively.

For the design I know I wanted him to look a bit like a mage or a librarian (cuz he likes books and he's very solemn), of course I used Asriel's god of hyperdeath form as reference (and a few stylized image of the lamb from CotL to get the profile right cuz damn those horns are hard to draw).

I used a rainbow palette cuz of all the soul colors (with white for monster souls), I made them more pastel cuz otherwise it would be overwhelming, and used black to make it a black & white palette with colorful accents.

also my attempt at drawing the family tree (except the 4th guardians I didn't have room for them) (and the world tree also)

Ok so.

Liliana and Gwen.

Gonna try to have facts for the both of them but i can tell ya this is gonna be a bit skewed :P

1. They both have limited access to load and reset. Specifically Liliana is unable to reset, and she autosaves regularly, especially after a strong fight. She can only load on death. Meanwhile Gwen can reset somewhat normally but is unable to save, meaning her loads are essentially the same as resets.

2. Their determinations are at very similar levels when they meet, meaning if they're both in the underground they have to combine their powers to use resets and loads and can't do it individually.

3. Liliana has several scars from the various ways she died at the hands of monsters. Her fingers, neck, as well as most of her joints have cut marks where they've been severed in past timelines. She considers getting tattoos to cover them up but is too scared of the pain to do it yet.

4. Before falling to the underground, Liliana was a computer science bachelor working a dead end job that made her miserable, and Gwen had just dropped out of med school because of the pressure and lack of results. After the great reset which essentially set their lives back 5-ish years, Liliana decided to continue her studies and Gwen tried her hand at med school again, this time with more years of knowledge under her belt.

5. Liliana loves animals. She's always a bit scared to approach them because she doesn't want them to attack her or run away, but she always perks up when she sees a squirrel or a caterpillar on the sidewalk.

6. Liliana's right eye is pretty much blind, though nothing is technically wrong with her eye itself. She can sometimes see slightly through it but stress and flashbacks make this eye basically blind.

7. Her time in the underground scarred Liliana beyond belief. She died many times at the hand of the Ruins, Snowdin and Waterfall monsters. After she killed Papyrus after dying to him several times, she got stuck in a loop of being tortured then killed by Sans in an attempt to force her to reset to before Papyrus' death (which she can't do).

8. Liliana's soul traits are in order: perseverance, bravery, justice. Gwen's are in order: kindness, patience, integrity.

i'm not gonna tag more ppl cuz i already did right there buuuut

I got tagged by CorruptedNekoArt so i'm gonna ramble about my boy for a bit. (kinda feels weird calling him an oc since he's just a bug version of color sans but eh whatever)

(also this got me doodling him and uh let's just say i had fun with the colors)

1. He keeps small trinkets, one for each of his friends. He makes sure these are strange or esoteric objects, that he would never think of on his own, as a way to make sure they aren't fragments of his imagination. He updates them every so often.

2. Too much noise or too many people can make him easily overwhelmed. Ironically, he hates silence and empty spaces. He wears noise-cancelling headphones for that purpose, but always has music or a podcast on so he never hears complete silence.

3. He absolutely hates being alone.

4. The human souls are a constant presence in his life. He hears their thoughts and opinions as voices in his head, and they influence his every action. Sometimes they force him to do specific things or prevent him from doing what he wants.

5. He's a very social guy and loves hanging out with others. He wants to learn everything about everyone and discover all the cool places in the multiverse.

6. His wings are extremely fragile and tear easily. If they were to break, Color's natural healing powers would fix them in mere hours, though that wouldn't make it any less painful. When overwhelmed or panicked, he tends to have intrusive thoughts about ripping them apart. He has never once acted on them, yet they still weigh heavy on his mind.

7. He sometimes takes off his headphones to hear the sound of the waves, the wind in the trees, or the chirp of the birds.

8. His way of fixing problems is mostly waiting for them to go away. Although he wishes to be, he's not reliable or helpful when it comes to fighting the dangers of the multiverse.

9 (because why not : P). He technically has a residence in and full access to the omega timeline, even if he doesn't spend a lot of time there.
