Aug. 18th is the Full Sturgeon Moon, also known as the Red Moon and Green Corn Moon.  According to Native Americans it is the month in which large fish in the Great Lakes are caught.

We will also have a lunar eclipse at 9:26 am. Because it is penumbral it will be barely perceptible to the eye, so will not be noticeable. This subtle energy however will be felt by us as eclipses bring change to internal and external environment lasting anywhere between three and six months.

Astrologically this full moon falls in the sign of Aquarius. If you are an Aquarius and have an Aquarius ascendant and Aquarius in the eleventh house the energy during this time period will affect you in a profound way.
