I'm Aerinis. I enjoy birds, horses, World of Warcraft, and Final Fantasy XIV. This is a general blog for whatever cool stuff I find, and also a place to post my occasional pieces of art.

Be leveling in Azshara in Classic -> come across a rare named ghost mob -> "oh this guy was probably important" -> check the wiki -> "oh it's the guy from the final boss fight in Well of Eternity" -> click the See Also section -> find the wildest item description in game

I do think Western Plaguelands is the scariest zone in hardcore, despite it not even being a max level zone

See, Eastern Plaguelands is a nice respectable leveling zone. You roll in there, talk to Tirion (and Nathanos if you're Horde) and get your quests to go kill one fucktillion mobs that are scattered about the zone in abundant quantities and properly distanced from each other. One quick pop in to check on Pamela, then over to Light's Hope for some errands to the west, then you're off to Silithus. Just so long as you don't enter the Spider Death Tunnel or fall prey to the temptation to click on the strawberry gummies littered around the zone, it's perfectly safe. Western Plaguelands is like you roll up to the Argent Dawn camps and they're like hello hero. how many skeletons do you think can occupy one square meter at once. take this cauldron flask and go find out

I used to use Google docs, but the white mode only was really annoying me (tires my eyes), so I swapped to Ellipsus (which I genuinely love and recommend), but it was bothering me a bit that I need wifi in order to use it, so now I switched to LibreOffice Writer, which I do like.

It very much has a Microsoft Word feel, but is open source and you need no accounts to use it. It's local on your device, so no AI can scan it, and no wifi is needed.

I still wish it had the Google Docs cards, because, bitch, that thing is so good for easy organizing.
