Well I have a thing about getting advice about something from people who are against it so could you explain it so I can give my judgment of doom or joy

In short, it's when someone already has fairly distinct sub personalities (not alters or did type separation! Things like BPD however can be included) and recognizes them as their own pieces!

In my case, I'm a polyminded *alter*, because of my frequent personality changes due to PDs, age regression, and alterhuman shifts. I often go by different nicknames or even prefer certain pronouns more during these times.

Many however are not systems or do not fit the symptoms of CDDs, and it could be a label from genderfluidity, age regression or shifts, or PDs or something else.

I would also like to state: polyminds do not use system terms and, most polyminds with an actual understanding of the label polymind are anti endo in the first place

Some people have assumed this is "purposely separating your personality" or "too normal to label" (which, like, it's an optional label for a reason lol, it brings a sense of community and an easier way to explain yourself in some cases) or immediately gone "oh it's endogenic"

However it's to acknowledge an already partially split up personality and help you understand yourself better

Heck, I've also seen polyminds realize they ARE systems instead, but without the polymind label and community I highly doubt they would've had such a smooth syscovery in the first place, especially because people are trying to force anyone using the polymind label into syscovery (which is harmful for both those who do end up being systems and those who don't!!)

But yeah, in general, it's kinda a fun little label connecting to some self expression

Whether that's gender based, PD or trauma based, or really just anyone who feels they fit the bill

A good explanation of it is: while systems might be described as a shattered piece of glass, polymindence is more like an unshattered blurry stained glass. If that makes sense

And, the main part of the community is pretty chill. Unfortunately syscourse got ahold of it and buried all the polyminds who wanted nothing to do with it

Polymindence was around for a while before toxic system communities grabbed hold of it and dragged it into syscourse, I actually watched it happen 😭

And no I'm not a subsystem, we've checked, and I'm very comfortable being a polyminded alter since I treat the "other me"s separately while also being,, me!

Some people might view their minds (sub personalities) as imaginary friends. Others might view them more like their own people (think inside out, almost!) and some might just view them as simple changes.

I think I'm going to move away from radnormal with this term just because I'm not the most identified with it especially with a good portion of folk using the term incorrectly and I'd rather just be associated with things like cleanqueer! I don't have much against radnormal as it goes though.

I'll probably add other blank queers to what aeroqueer is chill with at some point too :)!!

For short in case you look into it; no it's not system related nor endogenic and majority of polyminds I meet are anti endo, I myself am a polyminded alter due to BPD and NPD causing personality shifts !!

Anti-harassment/pro-recovery/kind people are not bootlickers of predators. We need people like that in our community to show that victims can recover and that it is possible for bad people to TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY and change and become better people.

Rude/aggressive/harassment of ADULT PREDATORS does not mean they are evil or anti-recovery. We need people like this in our community to show that there is no safe place for predators that refuse to recover and that they are not welcome anywhere. Every time someone is overly aggressive to the side that's convinced WE'RE the bad guys, you enforce that idea, you don't actually show them they're wrong.

And granted it's not your obligation to help them, but even a little kindness can show them that they're being hurt.

If not for someone blatantly showing me kindness and telling me "hey, I think you're being hurt" I probably wouldn't have gotten out of an abusive situation myself- being kind when others aren't is what sets you apart from all the assholes everyone encounters daily, and it can lead someone down a path of recovery, or even save them from a path of pure goddamn evil
