Important News About @/radnormal
Hi everyone! As you may have noticed, @/radnormal has sadly privated their blog. I've been informed that this was done after much consideration for its own mental health. Running the @/radnormal blog was already a source of great stress for the creator, especially while dealing with abuse in its home life.
This came as the Radnormal account started getting a lot of harassment from @sophieinwonderland, an endo who is treated as a god by the radqueer community.
The creator of the blog has said it may come back eventually when it's feeling healthier and is able to deal with the harassment. Considering that Sophie has driven multiple people to mental breakdowns through her harassment, I suggest we all be patient while the blog owner recovers.
Thank you for reading and being understanding.
After further research, i found that a lot of the narrative, language and tribalist form of thinking on the radqueer comunity is way too similar to language used on extremist groups such as incel forums, pro-eating dissorder groups, conspiranoid groups, extreme alt right groups and etc
PDF | Online engagement with extremist communities presents significant mental health and real-world risks. This study investigated how patt
the research i put here shows that extremist communities function by creating group identity, social validation, and echo chambers that normalize increasingly extreme behaviors or beliefs.
And at the same time, constantly engaging in an echo chamber of their own beliefs can raise symptoms of depression, anxiety and directly affect their behavior, even if the exposition is voluntary from them.
Don't say you're not attracted to childs if you like a fictional kid character (romantically or sexually, obviously). It doesn't make sense. Just because they're fictional, it doesn't change the fact that they're a kid.
Dude, I lowkey don't understand all these people who are so fucking annoying about "radnormal" replacing "normal." It's like they forget that being queer is normal, and they're just reinforcing actual queerphobic beliefs by making it seem like normalizing queerness is a bad thing.
It's deadass as simple as this:
Being queer is not predatory. Being queer is normal. Being predatory is not queer. Being predatory is not normal.
Rad"queers" are not queer, nor are they normal.
Am I making sense?
EXACTLY!!! people who genuinely get so upset at the term "radnormal" clearly havent actually read the definition.
greetings i have made a radnormal community
YES. Radnormal community.
reblog to throw tomatoes at people who romantize abuse in fiction
also reblog to give victims the love and courage to recover from whatever they went through and live happy forever because they deserve it
