Luxem exists in stark opposition to it’s counterpart, Arsix. This realm creates the Light out of which things grow and evolve. The realm is blindingly white and sickeningly upbeat. The inhabitants have an evangelical bent toward positivity and piousness. They are not easily relatable to the members of the band, who are a little bit darker and rougher around the edges. The inhabitants fancy themselves righteous, but it is stale & cold, as evangelicals often are, and that distance from the actual heart of things is hat-tipped to in the wintry, frozen landscape. The characters aren’t necessary shivering, they are comfortable, but the place is dusted with frost and otherwise all too clean. In creating Light & Form and with their monastic intent, they create without tact, they overcreate, and the Paradise realm, the next realm in the Overarch, is the beneficiary of that overcreating, in how trumped up and advanced and full of gadgetry it becomes. As our heroes will discover, too much Good is also a Bad thing, and there are snares & antagonists in this realm just as there are anywhere else.
