finished the cyberpunk collab in wuwa HOLY FUCKKKKK IT WAS SO GOOD 11/10 IF YOU LOVE EDGERUNNERS (or just cyberpunk in general) PLAYING IT IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! also cyberpunk is SUCH a good pair for lahai roi's overarching theme of sacrifices and legacy FUCKKK

spoilers below because im going to give my thoughts about certain events in the collab quest

still thinking about denia btw and her relationship with siggy :)

siggy basically saying i know something is wrong and i know you wont tell me even if i really want to help you. i know you're carrying something so heavy but you don't want to share it with me so i'll pretend i don't notice like i always do. siggy knowing EVERY single time nia lied to her but went along with it. she probably wanted nia to come forward herself so she just kept waiting

nia wanting to hide everything from her then telling her everything after she's gone so siggy has a reason to hate her. nia saying losing at ex-friend is easier than losing an actual friend. but even after she's gone and siggy received her confession, all siggy could say is that she hopes she'll see her again, and that she hopes she'll be a better adult so that they can face eachother properly.... just... UGH the presentation of this quest is so fucking good i really cant!!!

the way denia acted prior to what is essentially her death is so reminiscent of ppl who thought of taking her lives or were people who were running out of time which is why the entire quest i was just at the precipice of bawling!! fuck!!!!

the quest is just. so Human. god i love wuthering waves. everyone start listening to everything goes on by porter robinson while thinking of denrika so we can cry together

any time i see fandom bashing rover for abandoning her humanity and the connections she made, i think about how past rover was pushed past her breaking point for so long given the frankly inhumane and herculean task of saving the world no matter the personal sacrifices and misery she had to endure, and that wiping her memories and any records of her past was essentially akin to committing suicide
