i am not going to write a project proposal for bipolar disorder bc i know damn well the funding will not come, instead i'll try to use the leftover funds from my main project on multipl sclerosis however ts doesnt mean i'll stop my own research. i geniunely want bipolar to re-categorized from psychiatric to any metabolic disorder bc its less of a mental disorder but more of a chemical&genetic brain disorder for me. like this wont make sense to americans but here we dont use DSM5 and mental disorders are more like "thoughts and prayers girlie", CBT with sedatives yk?? im not gonna break down entire psych criteria but to me bipolar is more like a cancer that needs actual medical intervention rather than few sedatives + just talking it out, or like alzheimers nobody thinks those old guys are mentally ill jdoskdnd
