The best Chopin WALTZ Op.64 No.2 I've ever heard...
Zurich is a birthplace of Richard Wagner's “Der Ring des Nibelungen”. It was here that the German composer - a wanted revolutionary in exile - developed the ideas for his opera cycle, wrote the draft of the drama and put large parts of the composition on paper. For this reason alone, the city has a special closeness to the giant work, spanning four evenings and 16 hours of music, which continues to captivate opera enthusiasts to this day and which has left a lasting mark on high and popular culture. Now Andreas Homoki and Gianandrea Noseda are working on a new Ring for Zurich: https://www.opernhaus.ch/ring

AESTHETIKON A philosophical or artistic principle centered on the exploration and celebration of beauty, form, and the mystical dimensions of human experience. It embodies the interplay between sensory perception, intellectual reflection, and transcendental insight.
A breathtaking interpretation of Chopin's Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1, as Nicolai Luganski weaves a tapestry of emotion, nuance, and virtuosity—a true masterpiece brought to life
To live alone is the fate of all great souls.
-Arthur Schopenhauer
Zermatt in October is not just a destination; it’s an experience of harmony between human spirit and nature’s grandeur. A pilgrimage to beauty ans Walter culture, etched forever in my soul.
"Beneath the ancient canopy, where sunlight dances through the leaves, this sacred grove holds the echoes of druidic prayers. A place where nature's pulse and the mystical unseen converge, whispering secrets of harmony and wisdom to those who pause to listen."
The Opernhaus Zürich staged a remarkable new production of Wagner’s Ring des Nibelungen in May 2024, directed by Andreas Homoki and conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. Featuring a stellar cast, including Tomasz Konieczny (Wotan) and Camilla Nylund (Brünnhilde), the production focused on clear storytelling and human emotion. Homoki’s minimalist staging let the singers shine, while Noseda’s nuanced conducting brought Wagner’s epic score to life, despite the smaller orchestra pit.
Audiences also enjoyed free live streams and a video installation on Wagner’s influence on film music. This Zurich Ringwas a triumph of artistry and innovation.
