it  has been some time since i have updated this blog, but it is still in play! i understand that some may have not heard about this in the time of inactivity so I will allow a stipulation of accepting applications in the remainder of this week. 

       - remember if you are rejected ( most likely due to duplicates ) you           can apply for another character !!

will blogs that get accepted have to completely revolve around the academy, or is this simply like an affiliated verse of sorts for a select group of blogs?

they will not have to revolve completely around the academy, it is simply an affiliated verse for a select group of blogs. ( properly tagged so that any people who do not wish to see in on their dash may tumblr savior. )

does name/nickname, url, and gender apply to the character you're applying for, or the applicant?

hi! name applies to the name of the applicant as does url & gender. if the gender of your character is ambiguous or differs from the assumed canon gender, you can indicate it in your characterization. :”)

do not harass mods if you are unhappy with your arrangement, etc & instead if you have a complaint approach us via inbox of main group blog or E-MAIL. we will NOT reveal your complaints to any other members unless asked to intervene.

AETHER ACADEMY ; for the exceptional champion

aether academy is designed to accommodate an alternate universe in which champions are elected to attend a prestigious academy; neutral to alliances/origins in runeterra. tuition to aether academy is extremely high while acceptance rate is severely low. aether academy offers scholarships to outstanding students with financial difficulties including tuition, room & board, meal plans ETC.

aether academy is located in the conquerer's sea near demacia ( see: map  <- clickable link) & is placed upon a floating island. it is sanctioned by runeterra as a SAFE ZONE and will not be pillaged or intruded upon under any circumstances. rather resources have been contributed to the protection of this institution against unlikely attacks

aether academy is dedicated to providing quality education to its students & a wide variety of majors / specializations for the improvement of minds & nurturing natural talent. aether academy is also famed for its exclusive society of exceptional students {the diamond chapter } in which can only be joined by INVITATION only. these students are awarded a place in a SPECIAL wing. identities of members are HIGHLY guarded both by faculty and members themselves.

RULES OF APPLICATION

MODS will get FIRST PICK on champions, it is how it is.

One person = One character  ( SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY) 

OC applications will be CAPPED at five.

FACULTY applications will be CAPPED at seven.

Applications are NOT first come, first serve. They will be decided by the effort & quality of your application ! HOWEVER, if there are two applications with EQUAL talent, the application that came EARLIER will be selected.

After 10/24 , applications will close and will NOT reopen unless availability arises.

If you do not reply 3 days after accepted, you will be DROPPED and the next available candidate will take your place

Please plan to be DEDICATED, we do not ask for continuous activity, but do not apply & drop off the face of the earth for weeks. We understand extenuating circumstances, but if you know that you will be unavailable, leave the spot for someone else.

Make sure to E-MAIL applications to given address ! Speak to us if this is not possible.

If you WISH, you may apply to up to TWO(2) champions, if you are not accepted for one you may accepted for the other. However, you will not receive BOTH. ( MAKE SURE TO INDICATE FIRST CHOICE )

If you are NOT ACCEPTED, consider applying for a character not highlighted in the MASTERLIST.

thank you for your interest in AETHER ACADEMY, we are looking forward to all the new faces for this upcoming school year. all students will be REQUIRED to live on campus in the apartments provided. you may sign up to SHARE a room with a randomly assigned room mate or you may elect to LIVE ALONE.         feel free to browse our floor plans given here:            FLOOR PLANS         please begin to consider your choice as you apply for AETHER academy.         our facilities for students and faculty include PRIVATE GYM & SAUNA &         SWIMMING POOL. in addition there are countless RECREATIONAL         centers for our students. the academy BAR is available to those of age &         the academy also provides students with countless options for DINING and CAFES         thank you again for your interest.
